The NI Traktor X1 MK2 Thread
The NI Traktor X1 MK2 Thread Posted on: 12.06.2013 by Jack Narva With news of the new NI Z1 I was looking at online retailers and came across this at one of themhttp://www.pssl.com/Computer-DJ/Nati...-DJ-Controller Looks good. I have not seen it announced anywhere so it looks like someone jumped the gun. | |
Lang Abriel 17.06.2013 | If you look at the history of NI and the predictions of this community
....usually the obvious product predictions on this community
are released by NI. That being said, most ppl on here believe that NI will release a modular platter (although many would debate on the form/function). So my money is on NI releasing a platter controller sooner than later. |

Emelina Chillson 17.06.2013 | Layers are super useful. Te current mixer mapping I use for the x1 utilizes 3 different layers across 2 different areas to use it as a 4 channel mixer with fx and hotcues. |

Brunilda Kora 16.06.2013 | It's a good sign that this thread has gone off the boil. Perhaps people are actually using the gear that they've got rather than lusting after the later bit of kit.., Saying that, I still don't have a mixer at the moment... |

Adding remix decks (ableton style launch clips) to a DVS was a new idea, and is probably still giving them an advantage over serato becuz serato was not aware of the update until it was released...releasing an updated controller is not that new of an idea and they would rather have hype than keeping it from their competition. |

Kori Shatz 13.06.2013 | Looks great! X1 are already sold used for $99, after the release it should be significantly less. |

Margareta Mogilevsky 13.06.2013 | Page has now been taken down from PSSL ... Maybe they got told ... Judging from that my bet is that it's real Edit: And the second thread on the NI community asking if the first thread was deleted by mods is also now deleted. Is this thread going to suffer the same fate? How much pull do NI have around the traps? |

Celestine Porebski 14.06.2013 | Looks nice...not sure if I'd trade my X1 Mk1 for it though. I do share the sentiment about the missing tempo and beatjump buttons. Touchstrip for nudging on the other hand sounds awesome as well (nudging with pitch bend buttons sucks big time!!). |
