You believe it'll be that cheap? That's a steal compared to other competitors. The DJM T1 is more affordable now but at launch it was $1700 for what appears to be a similar setup.

One thing i'm not a fan of is the Deck switching that's on the S4 and looks like it's on this unit. It's tricky to have intuitive control when you have to switch decks.

NI getting in on the modular hype and giving us a small mixer to bring along with X1 and F1 maybe???

A scratch mixer would be different enough for them, I wonder if it'll be analog or if it'll be like the S4 where all the audio is handled in Traktor.

Nice catch, didn't even believe about that.

I hope it's a MIDI surface controller mixer -- the market needs something like that just now, most offerings are crappy (Behringer) or expensive (Yamaha.)

Ok. So it's a 2 channel mixer, cue points/sample deck control on the right and left side (color buttons). There are two buttons above it to switch what decks you are controlling. Audio 8 style card built in. Full fx options on the top!

I don't know. Sounds fun
Sounds pretty nice, but surely not true =(

I hypothesize that it is a mixer. A mixer much like what serato utilizes. It has the time code info built into it and gets rid of the need for an external soundcard box that has to to the translating for you. I believe this mixer will have midi components that controll effects and possibly sample pads or built in effects.

Now how sweet would that be for NI?

Definitely an F1 at the back there, the rest is interesting. Wonder if they'll be at BPM.

With build in audio interface and some mappable buttons it would be ideal for F1 or X1 though. But only two channels and whole design says this is first battle mixer from NI.

Fades are to short, plus if I can't replace my faders or at least clean them myself I wont be buying one.

why do the faders look so small???
