Due to the fact that you have 4 channels within each remix deck, it makes sense to use F1s for those decks since there are 4 volume faders on the F1 itself. Therefore, it doesn't make sense to have 4 volume faders on the mixer itself. 4. It IS NOT a mixer that runs "standalone" a la Stanton SCS.4DJ. There is no Traktor software inside of the mixer and you cannot run Traktor without a computer. If there is no computer is connected, it will work just like any other analog DJ mixer. I hope this helps to clear up the "Standalone" vs. "Standalone" debate. |

We want something to mix the outcoming audio from traktor with and that has tight midi intigration. Not a full midi controller. If that makes sense Just my take on this. |
Jamila Citino 21.09.2012 | It's possible it could be a stand alone, but I am sure you would lose a ton of features. And really why would you want a Traktor mixer and not bind that with Traktor software? |
Erich Vallabhaneni 21.09.2012 | im pretty excited about this now if it can be stand alone. If it needs to be hooked up to a computer then meh |

Mac Fly 21.09.2012 | I would like to see NI focus more on what they have already. Including better build quality and advanced jogwheel technology! |
Kellie Myrum 21.09.2012 | It's a battle mixer so faders are meant for fast cutting... |
Brunilda Kora 21.09.2012 | What's the deal with people wanting long faders? Just fade up or down more slowly??? |
Ming Devis 20.09.2012 | Four channel with longer faders please NI |
Valeri Millstein 20.09.2012 | Seems really "meh" a four channel version would be great though. Even then, modular would be the way to go. I would love to see something like a Behringer MM1 with a sound card. I still just want a midi mixer to put in between my X1 and future F1. |

Is this aimed purely at the DMC style of mixing? Again, at the moment without more information it's certainly 'not' on my wishlist. |
Nancey Inderlied 20.09.2012 | Cue switches, not hot cue triggers. The cue bus sends. |
Pilar Maure 20.09.2012 | I'm presuming they are the four buttons located on the left and right lower section of the mixer? |
Nancey Inderlied 20.09.2012 | Uhh... Where're the cue switches? |
Johnsie Kingrea 19.09.2012 | I'm hoping this means we're getting news in the next couple days. |
Pilar Maure 19.09.2012 | So basically it's a DMC style mixer with short throws and cue trigger's and rotary's for I presume the sample slots? Underwhelming for, if I can be so blunt. The majority of DJ's out there. A niche product? or am I overstepping my 'Meh' ness? Plus erm, believe the NDA has been ripped apart here? In trouble someone?? |
Lashay Walchak 19.09.2012 | Traktor is clearly doing something right if all the great DMC champs are all over their product. Craze, A-Trak, Shiftee, and Unkut. Those faders appear to be no different from the S4/S2, I'm sure Innofader will be all over nice upgrades almost immediately. |
Johnsie Kingrea 19.09.2012 | Wonder if we'll get some news soon, you'd figure this would be against NDA's to post this. According to his twitter he believes it'll replace his 909. Pretty sick if you ask me. |
Alla Bluemke 19.09.2012 | Faders def look very short to me. Plus god I really hate the gloss finish. |
Johnetta Olewine 19.09.2012 | Check it out a craze's instagram. Looks like a traktor rane 62 to me... https://mobile.twitter.com/CRAZEARON...67676912406529 |
