From the post linked in the first thread here http://www.djranking s.com/community /showthread.php?t=24514 New features include: Fourbanks mode has more options: Fourbanks Internal uses the top 4 keys to select banks. Fourbanks External uses the expansion digital inputs as bank select keys. MIDI implementation now has a fixed layout, "basenote" is no more. Expansion port buttons and faders always have the same Note and CC numbers regardless of the Fourbanks mode used. Bank select keys emit NoteOn/NoteOff events when selected. Menu Mode pages improved and simplified.
Karena Katherine 08.02.2011	so im having problems with not being able to have anything save into the banks, instead they mimick the top and bottom rows with the same effects. also another problem the only effects that work for deck b are the #2 effects I've reflashed the midi fighter with the new firmware several times and the same problem occurs. Also i have activated the 4 banks mode, but am not sure if i need to use the external or internal mode! Does the internal mean all the lights are off and the external are all the lights on?! Can anyone help with these problems?! I have Traktor Pro 1.2.7 if that helps at all!

Azucena Tarver 08.02.2011	I had the same problem on the Mac using the Mac MFU Updater. I could only select external 4banks, or 4banks off. Someone posted that they found if they downloaded the latest FW from sourceforge and then used the menu of the MFU Updater to use the sourceforge downloaded .hex file that they could then enable the internal 4banks mode. I tried this and it worked for me. Perhaps the MFU Updater program fetches the wrong FW at the moment.

Dewey Melchi 07.02.2011	you have to set the bank mode to internal or else it wont save. hold the top left button and plug your MF in, hit the 5th button and set it to internal mode. that should fix it for you.
Gilma Marchini 07.02.2011	The mapping doesn't hold the combo FX if you press the page buttons. I had a few problems of FX sticking even when I let go or toggled them off. It's really fun and I'm going to start using it, but it would seem it's not perfect. Great start/job DJTT ;D
Laquita Coduto 07.02.2011	Can't seem to get this to control decks b, c, and d. it only works on deck a. what am I doing wrong? edit- figured it out....working fine. not sure how i got it but it works great now!
Libbie Deutchman 07.02.2011	How do you ge the FX to show up properly in Traktor Pro? Every time I import the preset, it shows up with all the wrong FX selected. That's normally not a problem for mappings, but for this one, I don't even know what they're all supposed to be.

Yes, that's correct, you'll just have to make sure to assign the correct mapping to the MF you want. In a lot of cases, the Midi Fighters aren't listed differently in the In/Out Port lists so it's easy to confuse which one is which, especially when you need to set the ports for multiple mappings.

Jadwiga Mainka 07.02.2011	I am having alot of trouble opening the dmg file, i saved it to my desktop , i am running mac 10.6.2 1.83 ghx intel core dup and 1.25 gb memory, its a macbook, when i drag the icon to my desktop and try to open it it says MFU Update is not supported on this type of mac?

Yes, as was said, you can Add... -> Import in the Controller Manager. But you may need to Import the Effect Settings for the MF_FX mapping to function properly, so you may need to export your Custom S4 mapping first and then Add->Import that after loading the MF_FX mapping (since you may need to use the large Import button for that, haven't tested it yet)

Dewey Melchi 07.02.2011	You can remap the sample buttons to be cue points 5-8. If you need samples, then I'd recommend mapping a key to your keyboard to just switch the setting.
