Download the mapping here:
http://www.djranking s.com/wp-conten...4Banks-1.0.zip

This mapping requires 4 banks mode to be activated

Learn how to enable 4 banks mode here:
http://www.djranking s.com/community /showthread.php?t=9961

This mapping was designed for the S4 but is compatible with Traktor Pro and all controllers.

If you have an older MF (pre 2/2011) you will need to update the firmware

Get the auto firmware updater here (mac and pc):

C-C-CCross-post!

Here's the combo's coz I'm a nice guy!

Combo 1
Transpose Bmash
Press all 4 Bmash buttons triggers a Transpose

Combo 2
Grater LoFi
Press all 4 bottom row buttons in order (left to right)

Combo 3
Bmash F92-LFO Delay Pause
Press Bmash 1, 2, 3 then press T3Delay then F90-Lfo

Combo 4
Massive Wash Out Thing
Press Bmash 1, 2, 3 then release then hold 3 again then press and hold 4

Combo 5
Reverse Gain That I can only make sound like ass.
Press Bmash 1, 2, 3 then press T3Delay then Reverb THEN LoFi
It's meant to trigger Reverse Grain in FX2 which is does but it doesn't turn it on for me
Works for me now but seems like it needs more modifiers to stop it stacking so many effect as it starts to sound like white noise being gutted.

Also on the poll question this mapping is pretty tight but there's problems with the super combos triggering sometimes, which appears to just because stacking so many modifiers can cause oddness sometimes but given I spent the last hour in the mapping watching the modifiers I might be overreacting and anyway while they don't always trigger they also don't break/get stuck at any point which is great.

I'm using the latest firmware and 4 Banks Internal mode. The import procedure is the same as outlined by Ean. I know there was a problem with the DJTT server for a little while there and it was downloading an older version of the firmware. So you might want to try updating your firmware again if you are still having problems. I hope that helps.

I can't speak for Rusty, but I am using his mapping and it appears working exactly as it should. I have the latest firmware, in 4banks internal mode (2 lights for the setting)

I couldn't figure out an easy way to move the Instant Grat mappings for Bank A and B so they stayed in their current locations. If someone can tell me how to do this I will gladly move the Deck A FX to Bank B and the Deck B FX to Bank D. Rusty, your mapping, while i'm sure is in its early form of its true potential, is nothing short of amazing! I tried it late last evening using just one true track and the second track for loops and I could not believe I was mixing so good using just a single midifighter (no vci-100 plugged in). This really showed me how astounding and revolutionary this can be, and all I dreamt about last evening was what I could do if I had a second midifighter now too! (decks C/D?!?!)

THANK YOU for doing this (mapping these things is still beyond me), and I sure hope you are willing to share any further creations!! I can't tell you how grateful I am for your effort and sharing!

DJTT, take note of this..it deserves special attention!!

I noticed too that that combo kindof puts the deck on hold while its held down if it is playing as well, and starts the deck without fail if it is not playing. I tried a kind of a reverse combo of this one you found (that will start the deck), and the first time i tried it, it actually stopped the deck - BUT - I have not been able to get it to repeat that. Now I am wondering how many of the "combos" we are finding are real and how many are artifacts and/or bugs, and its hard to tell what is what at the moment. In addition to these, I have also managed to break out of loops (deactivate them), as well as mess up timing and loop start/stop points (shifting) just by using the midifighter by itself in 4banks with this mapping.

I believe it will be hard to really say if the mapping seems stable or not until someone releases more "official" information on what the combos are and what they should do, but my gut feeling so far with us seemingly finding more than 5 combos that seem to have big effect is that it is either not stable or there is far more hidden in there than 5 combos and none of us really know how to use them yet. Or maybe these are bugs in Traktor Pro? I'm really so confused!!

Hopefully someone "in the know" will be releasing more information soon so we can all get to the bottom of this!

Help us DJTT!!!

i got the same issue... four banks mode is internal in the midi fighter so it cant really be emulated.. (guess ill just hold the buttons) ive managed to get the rest of it going now.. only thing left is to figure out how i can get this to work on any of the other decks... might have to just make smaller buttons and wack em into the page and import the other B part of the tsi..... what do you guys believe of my " I PAD midi fighter"? it took me a while.. but really fun to make!

I recently adapted this mapping for my launchpad and it works great, still trying to decide whether to go 4 deck fx mashup or 2 deck with play/cue/hotcue/loop etc.. but in the process I lost the effects setting for the super combos. I've got the transpose one ean demonstrates but if someone could PM me the super combos and maybe which effect it activates that would be great!

I also have some big problem with this mapping, Traktor Pro 1.2.7. midifighter shipments of the signal traktor, but he is unable to transmit the signal in action. (midifighter in-port and out-port), but all lights work ( top button is lit LEDs on the both as to select the deck, and the rest are free), I install the firmware upgrade, and the bank is four fx. can you tell me, what adjustment should I make in the menu mode, or can you improve this mapping by making it more Traktor Pro and PC friendly!
thank you! and congratulations for this ingenious mapping!

This mapping really rocks for FX!

It sounds like I'm not the only one that is missing the 8 Cue Points for Juggling though. Personally I believe I would like to see Banks 3 and 4 set up for Transport and Cue Point controls for Deck 1 and 2 respectively. Unfortunately, I definitely don't possess the midi mapping skills to accomplish this. Anyone out there up to the task?

I was picturing the 1st button on the second row down would be Shift.
The 2nd button to the right would be Pause and Play(when holding Shift).
The 3rd button to the right would be Floating Cue/Loop In and Loop Out(Shift)
The 4th button would be Cup (I find this handy for dropping Floating Cues and re-cueing when I've used up my 8 Cue Points).
The remaining 8 buttons below would obviously be for setting and deleting (Shift) Cue Points.

yep, just look at the midi note map which flashflooder posted somewhere today and set you pads to those notes. I suggest you map a shift to one of the top buttons which would normally be the bank select so that you can lock the FX combos on. Just set a button to be the same as the bank button, then you'll have the 3 remaining top buttons left to do what you like with. should be sweet!

Oh yeah, this mapping is awesome! I love that my MIDI Fighter is basically an FX box / beat mangler. It compliments the VCI very well when you want to do something a little fancier than Fader FX. Great job DJTT!

but as i understood the post before, it is possible to map this to the keyboard, to switch on the fly between auto & hotcue 5-8. that would be awesome..

Since a lot of people have asked questions about using this MF mapping on other controllers, I have attached a written out diagram for the MIDI notes sent out in 4 Banks Mode that I used as a reference for this mapping.

It should help if you wanted to change the Midi Notes your controller sends out to match.

We have discovered the problem - the DJTT server was moved to a new machine, and imaged using an old copy of the site. We're trying to get permissions back to update the firmware and software directories.

Unix, eh? Pfffff.

The question was what the difference between internal and external was. I answered it with a quote from that thread. That said I'm having the same problem with not being able to select internal or external. As was pointed out in the other thread I'm going to attempt doing it the old way later today. I'll let you know if it works.

I'd like to have the same template as a Midi-Fighter with the 4 banks enabled, but on the padKontrol so as I can import the same mapping and use it with the padKontrol.

The fact is that the padKontrol actually has multi-scene capabilities, so I guess I only need to know which are the messages sent for each button on each bank.

Thanks in advance.

Here's the specs from the README file on Sourceforge:

Code:
Fourbanks Internal
------------------

Fourbanks Internal mode sets aside the top row of four keys as Bank Select
keys, selecting between four different banks of keys where each bank is
accessed using the lower 12 keys. The currently selected bank is highlighted
with an LED on the top row. When a Bank Select key is pressed, the LED on
that key is illuminated and the bottom three rows of buttons switch their
Note values and LED state to reflect the newly selected bank.

The bank is selected by reacting to the most recently pressed key, and if
two keys are pressed simultaneously the leftmost key is selected. When a
bank key is pressed it emits a "Bank Select" NoteOn and the unselected bank
(even if it is currently active) sends a NoteOff. Bank select notes are in
the range 0 to 3. After the bank is selected, only the currently active bank
can emit NoteOn/NoteOff events as a normal key. This ensures that only one
Bank is selected at any time.

Key LEDs can be controlled by sending the Midifighter a NoteOn event with
the same channel and Note that the key generates. Note states are tracked
across all four banks and LEDs will correctly reflect the NoteOn/NoteOff
state of the keys as you switch banks.

Adding in the Bank Select notes and expansion port notes (described later),
the Fourbanks Internal MIDI map looks like this:

    . . . . <- 124 .. 127
    . . . . <- 120 .. 123
