2 Deck Launchpad w/ 8 Cues+Loop+Instant Gratification FX Posted on: 15.03.2011 by Wenona Murro Thanks to many contributors of DJTT community
s (Str8upDrew, l0rdr0ck, alex8337 and others) I was finally able to get my launchpad fully mapped and ready for combat! Since I am fairly new to midi mapping this took me about a week to finalize, so I decided I would share with other members. Here is a layout of the mapping I have put together. The beatphase LED was just for fun but I decided to leave it, sort responds like KIT's lights from Kevening
Rider but to the beat. The mapping has complete and colorful LED feedback response. This mapping is for Traktor Pro and does not use Automap.Hope this mapping will be of use to some of you other DJs. | Liberty Brodbeck 06.04.2011 | The top row on the midifighter is for switching between Decks A-D, his mapping only controls 2 decks on the launchpad. |

| Susannah Cordner 03.04.2011 | I forgot to share this, but I actually never used your browsing controls I cut them out (along with the eq kills) and added these two separate mapping. The first one is purely the the top row browsing. user 1 is deck a user 2 is deck b if you hold the red shift key, they become c and d. Mixer is just a fullscreen browser. The others are self explanitory up down etc.. The 2nd is purely the right row, I use an outboard mixer so the kills weren't necessary for me. It's only purpose (for now) is to be a pretty master volume LED. I might add volume control to it as well, but for now it's just visual feedback. NOTE: You HAVE to delete these commands from the main mappings in order for them to work. | Wenona Murro 02.04.2011 | So I just tested out all files (T2_JWLPF.tsi) on my new MacBook Pro in Traktor Scratch Pro 2 all working properly without any adjustments needed. They should work fine with "Scratch Pro" as well as the "Pro" version. It will not work with "Duo" as the effects are limited. All i did was import all four tsi files, then select "Launchpad" for my in-port and for my out-port. No extra routing or virtual midi cables needed. *Make sure you're using the updated files for Traktor 2 http://www.mediafire.com/?4j65pc2zy1azo8n Next update I will be working on load a modifier to load loops/samples to each sample bank by pressing the designated 1-4 button. | Allyn Bjerk 31.03.2011 | seems to work for me on my macbook with t2, some of the midi fighter effects aren't totally working, but mostly it seems to be cool no extra software or other stuff required.. just loaded up the tsi's.. now if only i could figure out how to map C/D on my VCI to control the sample decks using the four buttons under the decks lol thanks for the hard work man, much appreciated. |
| Roseanne Torstenson 31.03.2011 | i'm on a mac and had no issues like your all going on about. use the main import and import all the .tsi files into traktor and map the in/out ports to launchpad. Make sure you include the effects into the import as well. Give traktor a restart and your good to go. I believe your all making this way more difficult than it needs to be. if you still cant get your launchpad to work after that make sure your launchpad is even plugged in into your computer as well... |

| Roseanne Torstenson 25.03.2011 | mine did that too at first and a restart of the mac and launchpad fixed all fx issues and it worked smoothly after that. Make sure no other hardware is affecting your launchpad in anyway as well. |

| Tatum Ansaldo 25.03.2011 | then i imagine that you would only need to sort out the FX presets for the FX mappings. And I imagine they're mirrored. Go into FX prefs, make sure all FX are enabled then do as I said above and with luck that should get you the right combos. |
