Celestine Porebski 25.01.2014 | Was at an actual record store for the first time in ages today...picked up Bicep - Satisfy and Milton Jackson - Sub Rosa |
Will Spinello 24.01.2014 | It's good old fashioned acid techno. Something a wee bit different from him. He's got one coming out on Unknown to the Unknown soon as well which is real nice. Have to go to Edinburgh toevening , which I totally can't be bothered with as I've had one of those weeks, but it means I'll actually get to visit an honest to goodness bricks and mortar record store tomorrow! It's terrible considering I live about two miles from Rubadub and I just don't ever seem to have the time to go. |

Ming Devis 19.01.2014 | Andres / Mike Grant - Moods & Grooves Classics Mr. G - Up Hill Battle EP Breaker 1 2 - Breakin', 2 / DMT / Estonia NIMBUS QUARTET - Later Lover EP Martyn, 1. Vancouver (Head High remix), Vancouver (original mix) A couple of new records. First for the New Year. I keep telling myself that I need to stop buying so many Mr G records but I keep failing, he's too good. Catching him live the last Friday evening was insain. |
Will Spinello 17.01.2014 | The Murph Tone stuff is killer. I've been playing the Jack Sessions one I've got a lot recently. Nothing much has caught my eye this week. DJ Spider maybe, new Parasole/Moffa one on Corner but can't be bothered pulling the trigger. Might have a look at the new Mood Hut one. I'm listening to the last Aquarian Foundation one as I write this. Such a great record. A thread on another community got me believeing about electro a lot over the last few days. I might have to dig out some of the pile of electro stuff I've got from the distant pass. It's about time some of the huge mass of Drexciya, Doppler Effekt and very early Anthony Rother I have got a run out again. Got some gems there that deserve a return to glory. |
Lawana Mileto 17.01.2014 | So ok, may have gone and bought a couple more; Christopher Rau - Broke EP on Office Recordings VA - Basement Floor 02 on Basement Floor Records (This is definitely a label to watch, first one and this one are kliller) ok and; Murph Tone Jack Session - Remixes on Synapsis Got a couple on my watch list New Nous out soon, along with new Mood Hut, and various others, just hoping they dont come out till pay day. |

Taj Mahal is also good. |
Lawana Mileto 13.01.2014 | So another one for the shelves; It finally hit the shops, picked up Moodymann's new LP, have to say amazing stuff. And now I really cant buy anymore this month. |

I'd never looked at their records because I never wanted to pay international shipping, but they had a number of items in my want list and a pretty good new year sale on other items, so I finally bit the bullet and paid the international shipping.
