Myself, I picked up the new;

Delroy Edwards vs Funkineven on Apron Records
Dungeon Meat/SE62 on My Love is Underground

It's good old fashioned acid techno. Something a wee bit different from him. He's got one coming out on Unknown to the Unknown soon as well which is real nice.

Have to go to Edinburgh toevening , which I totally can't be bothered with as I've had one of those weeks, but it means I'll actually get to visit an honest to goodness bricks and mortar record store tomorrow! It's terrible considering I live about two miles from Rubadub and I just don't ever seem to have the time to go.

Yeah, can't remember where I read it now but yeah a new alias for him.

Nice picks there Thumper. Love that OB Ignett one on FXHE.

Haven't checked out that new Willie Burns one on TTT, might have to check it.

Ordered another one today;

New York Edits - 3 - on NY Edits

Get to play out all the new stuff I've purchased this weekend, should be good.

Love the Sound Stream Stuff, and Live Goes on is a big EP.

Haven't picked up that Borrowed Identity one, but picked up the second one on Mistress the Juxtaposition (aka Marquis Hawkes) one.

Put in my order with Redeye and got;

Miltiades - Stmete EP on Echovolt Records
House Of Doors / Kinetic Electronix - Bicameral Mind / Astral Kin on Future Times
Sound Stream - All Night on Sound Stream
Skylevel - Skylevel 6 on Skylevel

Also received my copy of NY edits from Juno, to find it had two labels pressed into one side, so there sending me another copy, no hassle, they may have just redeemed themselves after my last incident with them.

Yeah there's been a lot of chiwax pre orders going up on redeye over the past few weeks, obviously have a busy release schedule for the year. Let alone they'll be dubwax, housewax, and rawax stuff too.

I did wind up pulling the trigger on:

Kresy - Basement Trax (Hivern)
Exos - Q-Box Vol. 2 (Bliq)
Earth Tones 4 (Soul People Music)
Julian Perez - FAS007 (Fathers & Sons Productions)
Gemini - Swimmin Wit Sharks
Think the first release edges it over the second, but have to say that the clips online don't really do it justice, 02 will kick hard on a big system.

Some nice pickups there, Julian Perez one is real nice, and love the Earth Tones series, need to pick up No 5.

The Andres/Mike Grant one on M&G is an absolute belter, doesn't ever leave the bag.

You can't beat a bit of Mr. G, the guys good, really good. Should read the interview RA did with him.

The Murph Tone stuff is killer. I've been playing the Jack Sessions one I've got a lot recently.

Nothing much has caught my eye this week. DJ Spider maybe, new Parasole/Moffa one on Corner but can't be bothered pulling the trigger. Might have a look at the new Mood Hut one. I'm listening to the last Aquarian Foundation one as I write this. Such a great record.

A thread on another community got me believeing about electro a lot over the last few days. I might have to dig out some of the pile of electro stuff I've got from the distant pass. It's about time some of the huge mass of Drexciya, Doppler Effekt and very early Anthony Rother I have got a run out again. Got some gems there that deserve a return to glory.

So ok, may have gone and bought a couple more;

Christopher Rau - Broke EP on Office Recordings
VA - Basement Floor 02 on Basement Floor Records (This is definitely a label to watch, first one and this one are kliller)

ok and;

Murph Tone Jack Session - Remixes on Synapsis

Got a couple on my watch list

New Nous out soon, along with new Mood Hut, and various others, just hoping they dont come out till pay day.

Bummer about the lack of a surprise. Unfortunately, my surprise doesn't actually contain Ya Blessin' Me, which is a monster song, but it's still hella cool for Moodymann to include another piece of vinyl.

Really loving those Kerri Chandler records...a LOT.

Glad I could turn you onto something. Can't wait to get my copy of 004.

Soul Capsule one is a classic!
I'm not really sure if it's an Anton Zap song or not, but that's what the many references to tracks on this release on YouTube state.

Untitled is the track that REALLY does it for me. It's really deep with a great sample. In fact, being that Soul Capsule and Stardust (the two others that I was dying for) are re-presses, this was the MUST HAVE for me that caused me to actually want to pay international shipping. Taj Mahal is also good.
