I want to start a thread where everyone can see all the custom gear that has been created by other djs here at Dj Tech Tools. Post a few photos of your set up and a brief description of what you did.

YEAH MAN! That looks like fun. Love the XONE 4D and the dual Kaos stations.

Notice the APC40/20 hanging out on the loosers table. That what I thought it looked like anyways.

cheers guys.

the pink is an enamal spray which feels just like they did before to be honest. just looks shinier and the black is a matt black which if anything is slightly grippier.

the jog wheels is the same matt black spray paint (just a thin layer of normal car paint) and feel better with that on it.

i havnt had a propper go of it since it was all done but i dont believe my finger will have any problems gripping them. the jog wheels work fine after the painting too... i know a couple folk on here had problems (no primer used here)

wow!

by the way - I'm doing a mod to my XP10's similar to your mod... how did you attach the vinyl cdr's to the XP10 encoder spindles? did you just glue the cdr's on top of the existing jog wheels?

Forgot to upload these. Just answered in another thread and I believe this thread deserves it more than any other.

Few weeks ago I lightly modded Presonus Firebox sides to allow more airflow. Until now, it's been running pretty hot and some users on the presonus community s have been complaining that their fireboxes might have fried themselves.

It is a small mod but a lifesaver. The other day I was playing in a cramped booth and only place I could put the firebox was on top of a amplifier. When amp gets hot, firebox get extra warmth, not a pleasant thought. Anyway, with this mod, it was all nice and peachy.

I just finished my arcade mod, complete with overlay and i painted the jogs as well, still gotta do a thin orange line tho.

I'm about to start working on a "booth" but till it's done i would def say i;m a BED(room) dj .

(my laptop is lovin' the dust from my pillow!)

edit: I'm dutch so i just had to had some orange in it .

Took the inspiration from Mauro Picotto many many years ago!

Using this for hot cues, loop in, loop size etc....Thw colors on the overlay for the APC40 ended up looking like a baby shower(pink and blue). Not as planned. Vestax Typhoon for the other controls. Don't believe I am feeling this Typhoon tho
