Dantron and I were going to do a battle 3-4 deck dnb battle a few weeks ago for djf but things went down. I'm game to battle though.

I gotta say that shows a lot of class on your (and the other mods) part considering the needs of a bunch of new members. I'm sure if this were any other community , we'd all be told to where to go. A big thumbs up for that.

And while we're on the subject, I'm with Nica and the others about having a dedicated mod section. I've got a ton of DIY stuff I'd love to share, but the sub-community you have isn't quite what modders like Nica and I are after.

Basically the community s good but djf was older and wiser. If someone had a screenshot of all the sub community s. You could try and re create it as this doesn't even have a section for us drum and bass headz

DJF had a dedicated section to "Digital DJing" and was nicely sorted. But many of the old timers (and some new ones) rarely visit that section because many DJs around the world still embraces the art and gear s of traditional mixing.

My 2 cents here.

dont no how you could do it on djtt tho. im well up for a battle tho
Yeah we have done a similar thing before but it was open to a bunch of members and they all had to use the same tracks.

The best 6 (or whatever) were voted on. And the winner was the person with the most votes (amazing eh;-).

Im sure we can setup a Battle community . Us mods can have a chat about it in the Batcave.

I did search and found nothing of the same thread/sub-community of what I was looking for. Don't get me wrong but that section (from your posted link) is not dedicated to DJ gear (turntables, mixers, CD players, headphones, etc.) but more of a controller modification section. Nothing wrong with that of course but I wish to see more options for traditional DJs who aren't really into controllers.

I really miss my DJForums! I guess it's dead and gone now? The mobile DJ and sound community were really helpful! I do wish I could have done some battles before it went away. So much as happened since it went down and I've ended up doing hours of hopeless research on information that can't be found other than a community like that. No offense DJTT but you are DJTechTools for a reason. I do enjoy these community s but I miss my old life with DJF.

That's certainly true. Although, it'd be tougher to regulate and easier for cohort voting to be an issue, but I believe the mix submissions subcommunity here allows polls
