Site hasn't loaded for me in like a week???

18.01.2012		It will be an empty shell (at first) but if they retain the same type of Do Follow archtecture for the site's HTML, then the links will attract members like sharks to blood.

That is how I found "DJ Forums" to begin with.....I was scouring the web looking for places to "drop anchor." (Anchor text, as in hypertext HTML coding using Key Words to boost SEO)

18.01.2012		The main things I want back is all the modders (not to be confused with moderators) who had tutorials and advice... I hope they take the small effort to repost their originals, if they saved them.

I will repost mine as a small part to the library...

At worst, 2.0 will have a server that actually works.

17.01.2012		I plan to sign up -- only because the LINKS from that site were quite valuable compared to many other similar community sites.

Anyone who uses the internet needs Links for their business to survive, so (for me) its a matter of Survival to use DJF 2.0 and wish them the best for their eventual re-emergence, whenever that may occur!

16.01.2012		I love DJTT, and love how it is, but I must say the mixes section of djcommunity s was much better for getting feedback on mixes. It was very interesting to see a wide range of DJs (not just digital ones) interacting on djcommunity s. To be honest the crazy members like "therealdjq" always kept things interesting and made me chuckle. When I first joined the djcommunity s I was kind of intimidated by the laissez-faire attitude that went on in the community s, but I learned to embrace and enjoy that about it. There would sometimes be petty disputes or arguments on the community s, but I rarely ever saw anything serious go down. People would have an argument, and then chuckle about it a few days later.

I will most likely sign up for djcommunity s 2.0

Yeah i totally respect that. I didnt know this Marc guy so my opinion is solely based on the one post ive seen.
Still believe that there was a better way of dealing with it.

So, Xone was Gerty and Bateman at the same time or after each one got banned.

16.01.2012		In fairness to Marc Stokes, he is one of the nicest guys I know in DJF. He has always been patient and fair to members whether they are new or old. Gerty/Bateman/Xonetacular must've pissed him to the fullest for Marc to respond that way. We are people and reaching the limit of our patience is just human nature especially when we are provoked.

It's about context though. Gerty was probably xoneraculars third alias after the other two were banned for generally being an online dickhead and some other silly stuff. It was a massive attention seeking trollathon and by that point the mod guys had had enough. Plus I believe gerty had posted some fairly personal insults aimed at Marc. Anyway... Just a bit of a back story.

That was what marc was ranting about in that post, so yeah. After reading it I was trying to figure out what the hell I did and was starting to feel really bad like maybe I did some horrible unspeakable thing I was forgetting- but then I looked at the screenshot of the rep window and that's really just what happened.

I had been on holiday and when i got back to work on the community the very first post i opened was that one. I had given him warning after warning about his conduct and was in talks with Admin about having him banned, We had agreed that the next thing he did that actually breached a rule would get him banned and then... bang... he posts that pic under the thread title 'The New NI Controller' which of course EVERYONE opened.

I had to deal with an NI community member that posted a pic of a woman in a bath that was shitting water out of her ass into her mouth. This was after months of him being a complete dick.

I tore an absolute strip out of him on the community , chosing to do it on the community rather than in PM because a lot of members had complained about him and Admin decided to ban him but i did it without swearing and calling him names.

Also another good reason for why im against the Rep System. Mods should not be telling people to Rep others at their own will.

Astounding.
