The VCI-100SE 3.6.4 Mapping for Traktor Pro 2
The VCI-100SE 3.6.4 Mapping for Traktor Pro 2 Posted on: 07.04.2011 by Jodi Lacerra Attached at the bottom of this post are slightly updated versions of our VCI-100SE 3.6.4 mapping for Traktor Pro 2 (for VCI-100 FW 1.3 & FW 1.4). The main functionality of the mappings has not changed, I simply made sure that the layout and effect settings import the same as they did on the old Traktor Pro (so you can still use the VCI-100 as if nothing changed). I also added in the 4 new effects to the effect settings so you can access them in the "Control FX" section (via Shift+FX knobs). There are no longer PC or MAC versions because the infamous "glitch" issue is no longer a problem in Traktor 2 (based on my testing), so PC people can once again get LED feedback with the Route FX buttons. Also, I previously reported that there were some LED issues in TPro2 using the 3.6.4 mapping but that was with a beta version of TPro2 so rest assured that the LED feedback should be fine. Just to clarify, DJ Techtools is planning on making a new mapping and overlay for the VCI-100 with Traktor Pro 2 with new functionality but this is not it. | Suellen Ianelli 02.08.2011 | i also use firmware 1.4 and tsi 3.6.4 for tp2 - it would be really great if those led issues could be fixed. is the tsi from april 7 still the most current version or have i missed a more recent release? i would like to see a little more love on this issue from the djtt staff. not everyone is switching to an s4 these days. |

I believe it is better to go back to traktor 1. This is working, i hope the djtt team make a good working mapping for traktor 2. |

| Takisha Hodulik 26.07.2011 | Edit: here is a quick video i made, hope it helps! Edit 2: Pitch fader issue resolved. for those interested i looked up an old post from photojojo. Here is what you do: Click on the big gear logo in the upper right corner to get to the preference pane, then click on the controller manager section inside the preference pane. Once your in the controller manager and click on the control column to sort it by name. Find the "tempo fader" controls, should be 12 of them, and change the rotary sensitivity to 100% in all of them. You can double click on the number and type 100 in. I tried messing around with it a bit but this problem still persist. When I am in scratch mode and do a backspin, the track backspins, but only for a very short time (even if the deck platter is activated and is still backspinning). The track then continues to play, BUT the tempo is slammed down to its lowest possible point (this is only on deck A, deck B's backspin stops and continues to play at normal tempos, even though the platter is still backspinning. In traktor 1 the backspin on the track would last MUCH longer then the physical backspin of the platter (i.e. the track sontinued to backspin after the platter stopped, but would of course eventually stop and playback again. it used to depend on how fast/hard i backspinned the platter) Thoughts? |

| Gidget Clipp 12.06.2011 | Hi I'm a new vci 100 user, it was on firmware 1.3 and with traktor scratch 2 it works smootly using the 3.6.4 mac tsi (not the TP2 version),'cause the pc version makes some glitches whenever I press the FX TYPE and the ROUTE FX buttons. I decided to upgrade the firmware, so now I'm on 1.4 but I'm having some issues with the tsi (3.6.4 for TP2) -when I press play the button doesn't light green but it remains orange -when i'm beatmatching manually it happens that while I'm bending with the jog while moving the pitch fader, it makes some huuuuge jumps of bmp -when I press the CONTROL FX and the ROUTE FX buttons it makes some glitches i've tried to reboot traktor or re-import the tsi a millions of time but nothing changes Anyone can help me? thank you very much! |

| Lizabeth Peight 10.06.2011 | all working spiffingly, but one thing i've forgotten how to do (i did do it for a much earlier mapping in a previous version of traktor.. how can i dial back the sensitivity of pitch bend in TP2. at present it only requires a very small adjustment to send the track flying in either direction, and having only just sold my CDJs a few weeks ago, to come back digital after a long break, mi would prefer to have to move the jog significantly more than at present to bend in either direction. help please? |

First, i also have this problem with the play button, the blue doesn't light on. Not a big one, but it'd be so good to have it fixed. I've seen someone in this post had the same problem, but the answer was not very clear to me (i'm french, so when it's getting too technical, it's hard for me...) Can someone help me on this ? also, and this one is annoying is that when i select the Deck C and Deck D buttons, the browser opens in full (like the List buttons do). I had a look to the command, and i can't find anything strange, it's doesn't look like the same fonction is connected to 2 different buttons, but i'm not a huge specialist... So help would be highly welcome... I have to say also that all the other fonctions with the Deck C or D buttons work correctly, they activates the decks & i can use the play/cue buttons, but i can't see the desks, they're hidden by the browser. So it is really annoying... Thanks a lot for your help and big up to the DJTT family! |

select internal in output routing prefs.
