S4 - What to carry it in Posted on: 10.10.2010 by Julissa Serrone Aside from the case meant for it, how do you guys plan on transporting your S4. I'm looking for a cool looking packpack that it will fit in, withough having to drop major bucks. Was looking at one of the old UDG bags, but I believe it's about an inch too small. Any ideas? | |

| Ignacio Rutner 05.12.2010 | The quoted VMS4 case dimension dont make sense: (L x W x H) 520 x 245 x 360mm According to the above it its 50% higher than it is wide. Some how I dont believe it is 36cm tall. Must be a mistake. It looks like the right size and a good option to me. |

My main bag has been this one from Pelican: Pelican PCS-183 D'Exec Series Rolling Camera Case with Removable Laptop Bag http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...n_PCS183B.html Currently unavailable, but it's the same bag I've used (for 2 years) to carry around my A&H Xone:2D, Audio 8, Kaos Pad, etc - but now it exactly fits the S4. Lifetime Guarantee too. the detachable computer bag holds up to a 15" laptop, plus cables, - there's even a long, narrow zipper pouch at the top to hold a power strip (always bring one). Imo i'd go with the flight case for sure (the official one from Native Instruments) at this point, but thats because (as someone else pointed out earlier) I do have a car and a way to carry the big flight case around. | Clinton Kordell 02.12.2010 | I just got my case a couple days ago. I was bummed on how big it was. 2 of 3 dimensions are bigger than my 1200 cases. If NI would have not added the extra space (for cabling I assume) and added another cut out on the back for the connections, it would be perfect. Oh well. |
