| nayit ruiz jaramillo 03.11.2010 | It NIs own proprietary NHL protocol which is said to be 30 times faster than Midi. The jog wheel are great. Very similar to CDJs but obviously a lot less heavy. If you can beatmatch on CDJs you can on S4, its that simple. If you go for S4 there is a timecode update on the way. No date is set for this update but it will happen. You could use your CDJs with timecode with the Kontroller. Pretty compelling stuff. |

| Efren Awalt 03.11.2010 | Nah I bought it in Holland from my preferred dealer (an Apple Authorised Reseller) as I buy most of my hardware there, just was too late deciding on getting it. They replied that they've contacted NI or the distributor they're working with which stated they're expecting to ship the S4 "more than likely" this week. So I'm super excited Fingers crossed you're in the same batch even though you're at the opposite side of the world compared to me haha. edit: @ Abyrne7 I also ordered it with the flightcase but after researching (mainly by checking the NI website) I somehow kept believeing the flightcase was on a later ETA than the S4. So when I ordered my S4 with the flightcase I specifically mentioned that I wouldn't mind having the S4 without the case if the S4 would be available earlier than the flightcase, leaving the flightcase in backorder. Either way I'll post back hopefully sometime this week wether I received it with or without the case as I haven't seen any DJTT posts about the flightcase shipping although that could be explained because of the simple fact not everyone getting one. |
