Diogo Dj Dragão 19.04.2012	Again, there is no possibility to kill EQs with the pots right? That depends entirely on what EQ you use in Traktor. Some of them will do a full kill, some won't. That has nothing to do with the controller. They have LED feedback like the APC ones, but can you switch between parameters, similar to the way the top 8 knobs on the APC 40 can switch between pan and Sends A, B, and C? or will there be multiple scripts for this? You define that behavior in your app. The LC-1 has endless rotary encoders with an LED ring for app feedback. You have the option of having them send either a relative or absolute message (which is done in the controller). should of used a different colour from the orange tho I like the amber.

The packaging will be a good bit larger than the controller itself. There needs to be room inside to protect the controller, and also hold things like the cable, manual, etc. But there should be at least one case solution available at launch as well.

For example, I've cut the top of the plastic case for Akai LPD8 and am using it as a "decksaver" and dustcover.

Debora Wassink 18.04.2012	Any dates on these yet? Been quite interrested in the CMD Pl-1 (the jog wheel thingy) seems like a valid alternative to the denon sc2000. But all these units look great.. Just fuckin sick of waiting. waiting on the K2 aswell.. that thing never fuckin arrives in the stores.. was planing on using it as an internal mixer in traktor, but since the wait have been this long im believeing about just waiting for the behringer mixer hub.

I really do love the move toward modular controllers. My workflow is not always the same for everything and I like having the flexibility to select an appropriate set of controls for whatever I need. Plus, experimenting with different workflows leads to more creativity for me. I like having multiple ways of doing the same thing. Although I started on vinyl, I don't really use jog wheels much. But I can see mapping the jog wheel on the CMD PL-1 to control multiple FX params...it gives a different level of expressivity than just turning a knob or pressing a button.
