New Behringer Kit

See http://www.behringer.com/EN/Category...rs.aspx?s=O500 & prices are on various pics at http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?s...8621758&type=1

$99 - $149 for the modulars
$199 for the mixtrack type dual decks (with no balanced out - bit of a fail)

Need to see the build quality as ever with Behringer, but they do look nice

does the MM-1 have pots with a center indent? sweet, I hate when that is missing especially on effects knobs as I like to pin two effects to 1 knob and have the center as zero...

also mixing board caps allow you to adjust more than 1 slider easily with one hand, they have their place, especially on a piece of gear designed to control a DAW, controlling dj software is just a bonus that was probably not a consideration in the initial designs by A&H.

love that it has a builtin multi-tt powered usb hub too... looks like an ideal midi mixer for me. still like the k2 but this just feels more mixer-ish...
Nether would I since using crossfader with one settings all the time, was just giving example there. Probably would be using looping and echo out or something... If there wasn't that one button for shift already present it should be invented for sure. That guy can really push up mixer mapping level.

People who need to bring more control to their setup will go for K2 or they already bought one. K2 is great sturdy controller it's multilayer and everything, only thing are those slider oldfahion knobs instead of DJ ones and no middle click on pots. I expect from mixer to got that shit if you know what I mean...

when NI releases the midi commands for the remix decks, looks like the DC-1 will be a cheaper alternative to the F1....

also quite like the look of the micro too. damn they all look pretty cool....
The 1 and 2 buttons function as fx assignment buttons on the s4, maybe it's the same thing here. Don't see why they couldn't be mapped as cross fader assignment buttons though.

These are all still prototypes. We were testing different finishes, so one of these is glossy and one is metal. Neither of these are the finished product, though. They will not be that glossy.

Yeah, almost every button has an indicator color and can be controlled via MIDI.

Huh, didn't expect them to to be so glossy. Fingerprints ahoy!

I forget, you can control the lights via midi, right?

Like this new look. Never seen nicer toasters! I toast to that!

This CMD microwave is small but technician. It could use like jogFX support and decks C and D control. Mixer is awesome, it looks pretty nice now with this new fancy top. That should fit much better with my kitchen elements now.

Where is the rest of units? Does it mean they got some other hidden features?

yup - is a bit of a squish as our toaster is only meant for normal width bread. but seems to work fine. just flatten the bag a bit first. not sure where the bags came from actually - may have been one of those crap late evening tv adverts.

not pre-toasted. just bread, beans and cheese put in a toaster bag and then popped in the toaster for a few mins. they may be low tech but they're quite cunning...

I remember back in the day we used to have to do it all by ear. Some of you younger ones won't even know what I'm talking about but I've still got crumbs in my left ear from Toast Nation at Manukitchen 1992.

true - having to manually match the width of the sandwich to the width of the toaster is a bit of a hassle at first but u get used to it. even if there was a SINK option you'd still find yourself going back to doing it manually sometimes anyway. somehow the cheese just melts more naturally that way...

I've known quite a few people who have bought sturdy Behringer DJ mixers... and every single one of them ended up realizing it was a waste of money that should have went to a mixer that wouldn't have quality issues as quickly as their Behringer.

Any know if it was ever released or when it will be ?

yes, sort of, yes and yes

just squeeze the bread together a bit once it's in the bag, unless your toaster is wider than a usual one. the bread still toasts but *also* kind of works like an oven i guess. the bags are reusable. i've had mine now for about 4 years and they're still going strong and here's a photo of my toastie from today

So it's a sandwich press. Got it. Still, putting canned spaghetti on one sounds kind of revolting. Actually, putting canned spaghetti on ANYTHING AT ALL sounds revolting. I understand the whole beans on toast for breakfast thing (although I don't personally partake), but ewww.

Wanna talk grilled cheese with pesto and turkey? I'm in. Hell, even PBJs rock when they're pressed. But anything out of a can pretty much gets a thumbs does from me.

I'm so depressed I'm believeing about ending it all in respect to toast and buying an Apple or possibly several. So can you guys tell me how your toast is always so buttery smooth? I'm sure it's got something to do with butter but mine always ends up covered in burnt bread. Also, when making beans on toast, what pro tips can you give me for getting beans out of my toaster? I've been using cocktail sticks stapled to a broom handle but that got lost when the kitchen caught fire and now my fingers hurt.

Thanks.
