Nakisha Pasmore 09.08.2009 | The Vly / Nick Barnett LA / NYC Tech House, Progressive House, Minimal, Techno, Indie Dance/Nu Disco, Electro... Still mostly bedroom stuff, but trying to get as many parties as I can, all pretty small for now. I'm working on a promo mix and hopefully (with some luck) I'll be getting some gigs when I'm back in NYC. |
Xavier Emanuels 06.08.2009 | Welcome to the DJTT massive guys ! |
Howard Roytman 06.08.2009 | Dublin, Ireland. Bedroom/house party DJ back in the 90's, then had to sell all my gear due to lack of space when me and the now Mrs.Milltown moved into our first one bedroom apartment. Only very recently getting excited about the prospect of mixing again with MP3 and trying to download as much as possible of what I have on vinyl and hopefully limit the amount of tedious ripping that I'll end up doing Focus will still be on house music and music that I want to dance to, not listen to! Yesterday my Hercules RMX arrived to replace the Mk2 I got a few weeks ago. Mk2 did it's job, letting me know I still wanted to DJ, but I quickly realised I needed a bigger, better quality controller. The RMX will fit that bill for a while until I decide to upgrade again. Cutting my teeth with Virtual DJ to begin with as it's easy to get into and works straight out of the box with the Hercs. Medium term I see me moving to Traktor though. By then hopefully either Native will have full support for the RMX, or the members on here will have the saintly patience to hold my hand through the mapping process! |

Ranee Boome 26.07.2009 | Hehe, right on Ableton's good in my opinion for doing quick transitions / mash ups and all that jazz but, there's no using decks / cd tables with that right? Not that I'm aware of anyways. Auto beatmatches as well if I recall, I haven't touched Ableton in ages. Should dust mine off and give it a go again one of these days, haha. Felony of Kryteria uses Traktor, came over and did a set with it on the Ammo Radio show one day, great looking interface most def. |
