Man you just gotta love that they took a left turn with this album. And I love the irony of the remixes that are on DJCity for "Get Lucky". They say that dance music is having an identity crisis and that it is in it's comfort zone. These remixes only prove they are right, it's your standard EDM remix with a 808/909 snare build up, with a screaming side-chained lead you'd hear at a festival (For example: http://www.djcity.com/digital/daft-p...ix---30176.htm). The true fans will get it while others will complain that it's not something they can dance too or pump their fist too.

Yeah actually I see the merit in their stance. I guess we're just not used to that thing these days.

Hair metal step. I can see beatport already creating it for their next "upcoming genre" section.

2. The ones that go the live instrumentation route, try and suceed, this opens the door to quality music being made again.

Maybe music is cyclical and we will revert to the 70's and the rebirth of dance music and disco. (one could only hope)

First 'discovered' BOC on a Nick Warren 'chill' mix. One seriously under-rated act. I guess the cover of 'Twoism' DOES relate to DP.

Anybody else believe that if you close your eyes and listen to that guys video it could be a cover by MGMT..? Sounds just like them.

I believe it's brilliant.

Also... If that's a standard upright piano, that geezer must be about 7 feet tall ...!!!
