Deep House/Bass Music
Posted on: 01.02.2012 by Kelley Mendrick
Just wanted to get a rough idea on what people's thoughts on deep house and bass music are? SBTRKT, Pearson Sound, Disclosure, Boddika, Blawan, Maya Jane Coles, Eats Everything, Julio Bashmore, Mosca, Catz n Dogz...

Are these all artists popular with DJTT community members? I just wandered what the general feel for music here was!

P.S if you are into this kind of music leave some feedback on my quick 15minute mix! Thanks

Sorry life is busy right now. But here is a good track from Daphni (Caribou's moniker for his house project).

No songs to post today, but after last weekend I can now say I have seen Maya Jane Coles! She absolutely killed it at Electric Zoo, one of the best sets I've seen the whole weekend.

Vocal version of Mosca's Bax. Im not entirely convinced to be honest, might be useful for those of us who play in slightly more commercial places though!

I actually just signed up here to tell you guys that you fucking rock! I just took a look at the more recent pages of the thread and found a handful of producers formerly unknown to me whose music I really dig! Exploring music is so awesome, don't know how much time I spent hunched over Beatport Pro today alone xD

DJTT is an awesome site in itself, but the community seems to be really cool too - so thanks again

This guy has been my favourite bass heavy producer over the last 2 years. Dub and Drum & Bass influences come through a bit on these but they still have a house feel. You really need decent speakers/sub to get the full effect
