I believe this would be a fun thread, what have you all bought recently?

Here's most of what I bought this past week, thanks to Christmas bonuses and gift cards:

(but with GREEN wheels )

and this t-shirt:

What about you?

kit to build one of these:

(it's a cool eurorack module which I briefly owned then traded, and now they sell kits for them so I ordered one to build to replace it for much cheaper than prebuilt modules)

Is that an actual SM58 or a cheap knock off? Either way, for

I don't know yet, it gets here tomorrow. I'm sure it is. Now I need a new soundcard with enough inputs which kind of sucks unless I only use stereo out of the MD. Soundcard isn't really a fun purchase.

Samson R10S Dynamic Microphone

Needed it for my show. Given that I do a two hour set and talk for maybe 30 seconds max, the main feature of this microphone that convinced me to buy it was that it is the least expensive mic that best buy carries.

yeah I justified it because its gonna save me money on bottles of soda, and their energy drink belend is pretty good. (thats where ill save most of my money, i work really early in the mornings and energy drinks really dent my wallet after awhile)

Agreed. When I bought Pro Tools from them, I got 3 phone calls. One to make sure I knew I was trying to buy the student/educator version and that I'd have to prove to Avid that I was a student; one a few days later to make sure the download/verification/install went okay; and one to make sure I was having a good experience and liked it.

I was impressed.

^^^ That stinks, I usually do well on finding stuff on ebay. Selling sometimes sucks, cause they keep adding fees or raising them.

Cool, I have the 25 key version and love it. Also can vouch for Sweetwater, good company.

^ yeah ebay is hit or miss, I use it to sell stuff but rarely buy off of it unless its something that wouldnt hurt if it was deffective in some way

Conversely, I suck at eBay. I've never bought anything that was as advertized and usable, despite coming from reputable users. And once, somehow, over the course of returning a turntable with the foot mounts broken off of the bottom (advertized as being in good working order…and not just missing feet, the bottom was missing chunks) I ended up with paypal believeing that I spent $3000 on a picture of some guy playing golf. Thankfully, it got solved.

But, eBay and I do not get along.

my records from chemical just arrived today, pretty mint condition...but the packaging could be improved, instead of shipping white labels (i'm actually anticipating for official release), nevertheless decent services.

next on the checkout
