Any cool VCI 100 MK2 mapping?

Hi djtt,

I just sold my apc 40 to get my new set up which are VCI 100mk2 + midi fighter 3d. While waiting for my 3d to arrive, I try to mess up a bit with stock mapping to get more control of VCI 100 mk2 in Traktor Pro 2. Does anyone has a fun mapping to use with? I'm trying to import S2 jog fx into my vci but it doesn't work at all because im kinda new into the mapping things. Thank you in advance DJTT community.

28.05.2012		tried it. it wont blink and lit when turn jog fx on. but in normal mode i it lit when press on/off

28.05.2012		Find /filter on/ OUT in your mapping and set modifiers:

A and C: M6=0
B and D: M7=0

Not sure this can help but worth trying it...

done but not blinking in filter button or should we deal with the stock map filter first?

Now lets deal with blinking led indicator for Jog FX. Follow this path: Add Out > Output > Beat Phase Monitor.

Since this is four deck mapping you will add decks A and C beat to modifier 6 button and decks B and D to modifier 7 button.

Beat phase monitor:
Modifier conditions: M6=1
Assignment: Deck A
Controller range: -0.5 ; 0.5 (check blend box)

Modifier conditions: M6=1
Assignment: Deck C
Controller range: -0.5 ; 0.5 (check blend box)

I did some testing. You need to make a little adduce to modifiers 8 and 3. In both of those blank modifier conditions slots (from quote) set in:

For M8: M4=1
For M3: M5=1

You can use modifier 3 for right side jog FX. Just set it up exactly as you did with modifier 8.

28.05.2012		Cool! it working perfect now. I have added scratch function to all 4 decks too due to the low accuracy on Jog touch when I trying to search track.

here you go. I try to edit jog touch and it is not scratch while jog fx is on but it nudge instead

this mapping doesn't has scratch, it is jog touch. So, I just mod Jog touch instead right?

lol I was just trying to put M8-1 and M4-1 on it but i fournd that only when i press shift the scratch function turn off T T

Next we wanna add some modifier conditions to scratch functions:

For deck A and C scratch set: M6=0
For deck B and D scratch set: M7=0

If properly set you won't be able to scratch while jog FX on.

Great! You can reduce it from M8 encoder sensitivity. It's curently set to 30% which is fine speed for my bcd's jog wheel resolution.

28.05.2012		You can click "learn" and look for exact notes and maybe write it on parer or somewhere it will be by your hand when start to set M8 output to thise same controls.

From CH1 look up for MIDI notes that that four buttons send.

Switch on jog FX mode for left jog wheel and while on hold shift again and move nudge. Anything happen?

All four button LED's should change while moving the nudge.

Sorry I forgot to say that this M8 need to be assigned to NUDGE part of jog wheel.

28.05.2012		I removed modifiers from KEY's output. Now we are moving back to original idea so set modifiers like at first place.

vci100mk2 jog fx.tsi

Add in modifier 6 with following setup.
Modifier conditions: M6=0 ; M4=1
Type of controller: Button
Interaction mode: Direct
Set to value: 1

Duplicate modifier 6 with following setup.
Modifier conditions: M6=1 ; M4=1
Type of controller: Button
Interaction mode: Direct
Set to value: 0
