CDJ and Turntable Subforums here?

CDJ and Turntable Subforums here?
Posted on: 02.11.2011 by Halley Wurzer
Granted, I am not some guy that has been here since the beginning, and mostly DJ with my S4.......but.....would it not help more than hinder this community to have these? I like and appreciate the online community here, check the community multiple times a day, and learn a lot. Yes this topic is partially triggered by the recent absence of DJForums, and I realize the roots of DJTT, but how could it hurt to expand and broaden just a little? It would really help fill some "online community gaps" for a lot of DJ's. It seems that DJTT has been solid, reliable, and growing, and a great platform for expansion. In the real world, the lines between DJ mediums are blending, having a reliable online community that serves a majority of DJ's could really act as a catalyst for the acceptance of newer technology alongside more traditional mediums.

Obviously this is just my opinion, I don't know managements goals or future intended direction, or costs and time that would be associate with such a change, but feel that some thought should be given to creating these. Again, nothing but respect and appreciation for what Ean and team have done! Just an idea....

Looks to me like its in the works. Patience is a virtue. Why not spend your complaining about a subcommunity time on "real" dJing?

:frystare:

maybe they don't want to start some sort of flame war with all the "real" DJs having their own sub community where they can look down on the "fake" DJs. I don't mid having a subcommunity but I remeber that the digital hate was huge on DJF and tbh I dont really need that here

This was Spam fellas.

Note the name. The spammers have got clever and are repeating posts made by others on previous pages. Also their name always look similar to the one quoted above (a jumble of letters and numbers).

Some of them are genuinely joining in conversation and are not bots but the 3 broken links to Hosting sites are the give away.

Please do not reply to the spammers, we will zap them with our death rays when we see them.

It's one of the reasons why most of the traditional DJs here feel that this community is lacking some more important things to talk about than just pressing buttons and auto syncing.
