I've spent more since I got into controllerism (the last couple of months) than I have in 3 years. Can someone say Black Card Candidate? I can't. Too broke. I've gone through phases before where I spend large sums at once, but never in this quantity. I got a Kontrol S4, Odyssey Flight Case for the S4, Midi Fighter, Scratch Upgrade for the S4, Fluorescent Orange Control Vinyl, M-Audio Axiom Pro 49, Pro Tools 9, Ableton Suite 8, Novation Launchpad (kind of free from the parents [A Nice Gift I might Add.]), 8GB RAM, 1TB WD Scorpio Blue Hard Drive, Denon HP-1000 Headphones, A Shit Ton of Jasmine Tea (Not Sure Why, but it tastes and smells like...well...amazing.) and Shure SE215 IEMs. Like...What the Hell. What happened to my generally behaved spending habits... I'd assume that I'm also not the only one in this boat either, so along with lighting one for me, pour one for the foreclosed homies. | |

In a 6th month time frame i did: djm-700 + Str8 150s + Audio 8 and TSP + Novation SL Mk1 + Xone 42 + 2 1ds + Then in a very wierd state after getting my toncils taken out. DRUG Induced GAS, I sold my Xone 42 and bought a Ecler Evo 5 + Traded my Audio 8 for a EKS Otus Sold that + Upgraded from Imac to Macbook pro i7 + Sold the 1ds and bought 2x kontrol x1s. + Some hd 25iis at some point I've settled for the semester now and the only thing I have added is a lunchpad but it was a gift from the rents. I ended up giving away the novation remote mk1 and I lend out the djm 700 to friends. It clams down once the initial rush is over and you find your gear . vibe, and start doing what you want I was 18 and had a restaurant job so it was a bit crazy :-D |

Needles fucked. - Still got em tho VCI100 self Arcade mod - Dead ATM...being repaired Audio 4 DJ - Still have and use it TSP - Via upgrade path Stanton STR-8 100's (Pair) and Ortofon Concorde Electro's needles. APC40 - Still have it KP Mini - gave it to my mate APC20 - modded into the 40 = APC80 - has it Korg KP3 - still have it and now looking for a case for my APC80....and gonna by a Pro x Fade....soon...so my boss can bring it when he comes to SA next week. |

Audio 4 DJ Traktor Pro license Traktor Kontrol S4 APC 40 Denon HP700s and got a MBP for Christmas from the wifey, along with the KS4 flight case. My Bday is coming up, and the wife just randomly said to me the other day, "hey do you still want one of those midi-fighter things?" Nice. |

This is a list of gear I have acquired since November: Kontrol S4 - $1010 Maschine - $520 AKG K702 - $275 Novation SL 49 MK II - $320 MIDI Fighter - $240 KRK Rokits - $210 (Thank God for Gianmarco or I would've have blown $420) MacBook Pro 15" i7 - $2900 Uberstand - $87 Please keep in mind these are the prices I actually paid, so it's after tax and the S4, Maschine, and MacBook include a 3 year accidental damage coverage. |

Since getting more involved and "Pro" its changed slightly... Now I have: 2011 Macbook Pro 15" i7 - $1900 Kontrol S4 - $899 Kontrol X1 - $199 Audio 2 - Free Pioneer HDj 2000 - $240 So in the last cpl of months I've spent about $3240 not to mention the hundreds of $$$ spent on Beatport! GAS FTW!!! |

Numark Mixtrack (sold) Traktor Pro (sold) Audio 4 DJ Rokit RP8s Kontrol S4 Kontrol X1 TSP2 Upgrade I guess I can count my Toughbook too since I bought it with the sole intention of it being my DJ laptop. And I bought RAM, spare battery, and Win7Pro for it as well. The only thing left on my list is a new mixer. But I don't believe that's going to happen anytime soon. |
