DJTT Progressive Mix Train #2

DJTT Progressive Mix Train #2
Posted on: 17.09.2010 by Latoria Kavulich
Hi Guys. Here's your chance to get in on the second DJTT Progressive Mix Train!

I thought seeing as there were a few keen on the first one (which isn't quite ready yet) but missed out unfortunately this would be a good opportunity for y'all to show the community your stuff.

This time i believe we should go with 6 slots of 20 minutes each and a mix of experienced guys and some up and comers to make up the full two hours. If you are keen, reply to this post and we'll set it up on a first in, first served basis. (And i believe all involved in the first one should exclude themselves)

Remember this is for progressive house, if thats not you then sorry.

Once we have 6 Slots filled we'll set the groundrules and get this show on the road!

The first person will be "In Charge" and be responsible for making sure everyone gets their part done and to a good standard.

Have at it mateys, J

I'd rather you actually mixed your part in manualy mate. The easiest way to do that (assuming you use traktor that is) is to grid the last 2 minutes or so of the previous section, maybe have a quick practise mixing the two parts together, and to get the levels right, then record the whole thing fro the start again. Its a bitch if you screw up but the best way imo. have fun

Is it possible that this mix might come out BEFORE DJTT Progressive Mix Train #1? Or did that one already come out?

Ok guys finished my part, hopefully this is not too high energy to start it off. The whole thing is 128bpm, i believe that's low enough to allow for a good increase in tempo as we go, and the track list is there in the folder as well. Whole thing clocks in at 25mins on the dot.

I like progressive with a good melody, deadmau5/micheal woods style. But I do have a good collection of progressive so I should be able to carry on the flow of the mix.
