VCI after Upgrade nearly dead
VCI after Upgrade nearly dead Posted on: 28.11.2009 by Carole Boustead Hey guys, after days of trying I finally arrived to upgrade the VCI. But when I connect it to the pc, first the power-LED lights up for a second, then it turns off & the left jogwheel turns red & nothing happens. Can anybody help me? I need it tomorrow and so I'll need to search an alternative solution >.< | |

Carole Boustead 30.11.2009 | I don't know what happened, I updated it again, got the same success-message, but now it works Thank you guys |
Doug Bieling 30.11.2009 | read everything to the letter don't rush through it. Test its working before you put the vci back together. Gav |
Carole Boustead 29.11.2009 | @ MisterMoleyMole & JesC: I tried everything more than just one time. But what I don't understand is that I can't reproduce the upgrade. Now it doesn't work with the same settings as before. I'll try to upgrade it once more, maybe it'll change something |
Cristian Carmona 28.11.2009 | i have a feeling that the vci was not hooked back up correctly. take the vci apart and where you connect the flash device next to it, it has a plug that is disconnected, make sure that is plugged back in and try the vci out. |
Doug Bieling 28.11.2009 | you have carried out the upgrade? any error messages? One thing i will say is so many people carry this out rushed and dont follow the instructiosn exactly, so find when they go back and do it again it works as they didnt read something or missed something. Try again i say. |
