Reply to VCI after Upgrade nearly dead

Hey guys,
after days of trying I finally arrived to upgrade the VCI. But when I connect it to the pc, first the power-LED lights up for a second, then it turns off & the left jogwheel turns red & nothing happens.

Can anybody help me? I need it tomorrow and so I'll need to search an alternative solution >.<
