Firmware 1.3 temporarily unavailable?

Jusr got my little vci 100 (changed from a vci 300) and i was all ramped up to gert some upgrades, strarting from firmware and moving up, but store says its temporarily unavailable, any idea when its back on again? cos I'm really looking forward to getting to grips with some of the stuff Ean was showing on 100SE video, granted i need to get my hands on the overlay too but hey, one step at a time

are you using USB to serial or serial to serial?

raw data is usually unformatted data, meaning that your vci 300 might no recognise the firmwaqre, try re downloading it, have you tried an alternativecom port?

This thing is driving me crazy. Any other ideas. Do you know what SRecord and raw data mean?

this seems to be your issue i believe "Connecting to device 'H8/3052F' on 'COM1'"
i believe djtt recommend com port 6, you could be getting the error cos youre using com port one it seems to be a common issue, try hooking into another com port

Tried it again and nothing. I don't know if you know how to read this cause i don't. but this is what i get

Where it says processing file:"C:\program etc is where i get the "This is not a SRecord loading raw data" I get this message twice. What does it mean?

mate by the sound of it, you need to reflash the upgrade, check your com ports, and look through the guide carefully, the video guide i believe is best:

Hey I do have the kit and tried it but my vci won't come back on after flash. i get a message while flashing that says "this file is not a SRecord loading raw data" what does this mean? If you can help me get my system up I will send you my kit for free. It does say image written successfully but won't come on. I am using serial to serial(the correct one). Need help fast.

Same here... was about to order the firmware kit but NOPE - sold out

Any info on when it will be available again?
