/showthread.php?t=12739) has been updated to a newer version, 3_5_2! This update has fixed most all of the remaining bugs, incorporated some community
user's requests, and has added some new functionality to the mapping as well.There is also now a lengthy and thorough 9 page TSI Walkthrough document that is included in the attached zip file that explains the basic functionality of the mapping and its features (including some new ones). A huge thanks goes out to pilmat for his huge help with the walkthough! The following bugs have been fixed since 3_5_1:
The following features have been added since 3_5_1:
One of the requested features I couldn't implement was offsetting the LEDs of the four bottom buttons (for non-Arcades) in Juggle Mode to differentiate 1-4 & 5-8. I liked the idea but couldn't get it to work for those LEDs for some reason. Sorry, it'll be looked into further in the future. If anyone finds any bugs or odd functionalities with this updated mapping, please let me know (via this thread)! Requirements You must have Traktor 1.24 or later to use this file otherwise it will not import properly. To Load this file Select the BIG import button in the lower left hand corner of the preferences tab. If this is your first time loading the TSI file, please load it 2 TIMES for the fx to load properly. The 1st and 2nd time you run Traktor after importing this TSI file, the controller may lock up in fader fx mode. Just quit and re-open the program twice and the issue should go away. | Eneida Mussa 16.08.2010 | It was relating back to my previous post to do with keylock (shift + sync). When I try to key lock deck A or C it will adjust the pitch fader as well as move the key off centre and still toggle the sync |
| Leeanna Ayla 15.08.2010 | What do you mean by changes the pitch fader position? You should be able to hold shift and center the cross fader and it will reset to zero and match up with the software. |
| Eneida Mussa 15.08.2010 | I've also found that after a couple of restarts and re-imports of TSI it changes the pitch fader position as well. It may be the tsi file that another user had to send me as I could not get the zip file to open. If you have a working tsi that you could send me (or link) it would be appreciated. | Lupe Shehee 24.07.2010 | Hi, loving the new mapping, one query though. In faderFX mode do I have to assign to a deck to turn it on or should it just enable for the currently selected deck? For example I have a track playing in deck A and turn on FaderFX but FX 1 does not light up on Deck A and I have to mouse over to it and turn it on and then I can use faderFX for that deck. In the old mapping you had to hold a button and then double tap the channel you wanted to use it on to setup faderfx. I tried reloading a the mapping a few times and restarting traktor but no change there. At the mo I am just leaving FX 1 on for Decks A & C and FX 2 on for Decks B & D but this means that faderfx affects both decks its enabled for by default which is not what I really want. Any help would be wikid. Cheers |

| Leigh Derbyshire 23.07.2010 | I was using my VCI 100 SE last evening with the new firmware, messing around with the fader FX enough would lock it up and I would have to unplug and plug back in the controller. It seemed that going up and down alot near around 25% on the fader would do it, but it wasn't exactly replicable. I was using the glitch fix, as well. |
| Rodger Dantzer 22.07.2010 | Though I don't really ever look at % of the control, On initial start of session i load up tracks, start one (with my Pitch Controls centered) and hit sync on other decks and back again... it locks me in the basic area of where i'll remain for the evening without a pitch jump problem ever arising again... Givin, Im a house jock so my bpm range doesn't change much.. Not sure of the full range % (cause i never need to use full potential) but its just my quick fix till there is a cure... |

| Takisha Hodulik 19.07.2010 | So i installed the new mapping a few days ago. In terms of the pitch bend issue, it seems to have changed, but is still there. Now, when it was set to 8%, it would jump some 2 % down even if i moved it slightly up instead of down. So the jumping issue if you move it slightly up or down still remains However, I tried it with 100%, and the jump is still there, but it goes 16% down Even after recentering it with shift, it will not go the full 100%, only like 8-10% if i recall, Ill look into it more when I get home -gm |

I didn't import all the settings though; I simply added the mapping using the "Import" popup menu when you click "Add..." under Device on the controller manager. I realize this isn't what's recommended but I've been doing this every time and never had a problem with it -- is it wise to re-import using the import button on the bottom of the pane? I have multiple other controller mappings set up and when I do it that way I have to reimport every one of them, and it doesn't seem to function differently from when I just import directly. |
