VCI-100 and Traktor 3.4 (Dj TT Special Edition) Posted on: 26.05.2008 by These files will only work with VCI-100's that have the special edition firmware installed. Regular VCI-100 users may try them out as many of the functions will work but some functions will be disabled. Please post any problems or bugs in this thread and the TKS file will be updated and added here. Video to come soon. VCI-100 Bug: In normal mode, using Deck C cue will light up Deck C and Deck B cue buttons. They both work perfectly but the lighting is not working as intended. But i've a question I had a Behringer bcd2000 that had a tks that was very nice because with it i was able to scroll the folder list and the song list using the jog weels and go backward and forward into the song loaded in the preview mode. casey rascal 21.09.2008	You need to set Traktor to 3-band EQ and not 4-band. Right click on the top of the EQ and select Classic
Federico Vilas 20.09.2008	I've recently updated the firmware on my VCI-100 and am getting used to all the functions introduced with the SE model BUT only have really found one bug on my end...i've uploaded the new tks file and the only thing that does not work are my MID eq knobs for both decks A&B... High and Low work as well as the High & Low pass filters BUT no response from the MID eq's? help anyone? i'm new to the whole midi mapping world

Anybody know how i can change the settings on the Beatmasher to fractional values (1/4, 1/8ths etc) rather than have a percentage value ?? I cant find anything in the manual about it. Is this perhaps only available in Traktor Scratch ??

Nick Ross 22.08.2008	I am using version 1.3 of the CDJ1000 tks. If I'm wrong, I apologize. I'm at work and can't verify 100%...but I know I've only been using the CDJ1000 tks since it's inception. Anyway...yesterday I decided to muck around with the 4 deck layout, I noticed that the VCI started functioning like the TT tks (where the inside platter was for scratching, and the outside was for tempo adjusting). When I switched back to my standard 2 deck layout (one of the standards at the top...Effects and something), the VCI100 worked like the CDJ1000 tks. I have no clue why this was happening...and if it can't be repeated by anyone I will go home and post a video.
Tom Werz 15.08.2008	Hi guys, i've spent most of today rocking the new tks files and they have definitely cleared up previous bugs. I have noticed 1 thing though The engaging of fader fx and deck c with the pressing of the 2 small buttons in performance modes works fine when fx bank A is selected but not for fx bank B. I would have a go at fixing this myself but im pretty clueless as to what i should be looking for in the midi pages. Can anyone point me in the right direction ? Also try holding in the deck c button or deck copy button and you will notice you can scratch with the inner jog wheel in the cdj tks. This is pretty snazzy, comes in handy.

30.07.2008	Hey Ajay, That is basically it although you may want to adjust your deck pitch fine to 4.5% as shown in this picture so the fader length/ pitch change matches a turntable. Good luck with the SE and your welcome!

Roger Gomez 29.07.2008	I just got back to Sydney from my Ibiza holiday, and when I got to work on Monday, there was my VCI-100SE waiting for me, got it home, unboxed it and set it up, seems to be working great, and the quality of it is outstanding in comparison to my previous VCI-100. Thank you so much Ean! I'm looking forward to getting well aquainted with it this weekend. A question though, I have loaded up the 1.2 CDJ_1000 version of the tks, and it seems to be working well. However can you please post up what the other traktor settings/window assignments need to be made? E.g. like the setting that needed to be made in the Loop End window for the drum roll effect? Is there a summary of all the different ideal settings like this, anywhere to be found? I hope this makes sense. Also probably not the right place to ask this question, but what are your thoughts on integrating a Pioneer EFX-1000 for more effects into a Traktor/VCI-100se setup? How would this be achieved? Thanks again for an awesome product!
filippo rossi 28.07.2008	Ok so I got my vci se and was running it on 3.2 I had some buggy issues. then I upgraded to 3.3 all was working well. then I upgraded again to Tracktor 3.4 and now my vci se running into problems light not lighting up on the cue the audio feed seems to bleed through the master speakers when you change the program master volume dial. When i turn the level all the way down and cue up a song and hit play the volume on the deck volume level jumps to 100%. I dont believe I can roll back without loosing all my collection data because tracktor has change the coding that when you open 3.4 it ask you to updatethe collection files. When you do this your collection data can not be read by previous versions. I gonna plug my vci version 1 back in for awhile my head hurts. -R
