APC 40 mapping Traktor 2 multi page clip layout
APC 40 mapping Traktor 2 multi page clip layout Posted on: 09.05.2011 by Lavona Lobner EDIT 4: Version 3.1 on page 3 sorry it messed up the saveOk so i've been doing my research on this and thought instead of adding to extremely long posts on this subject that i would ask my questions outright in order that the information is separated. Basically i understand how to assign buttons knobs and led's with feedback loops etc. but no-one has quite made everything controllable that i would want. for example if i get all four decks then i lose out on cue points or full eq loses out on effects. i have tried about 4-5 different tsi files and they all have their merits but they are also not cross compatible, i would pull apart the Red Mapping that is on YouTube as he seems to have done what i am requiring but i cannot find it posted anywhere. So here is what i want to know: as i understand it having the apc in dumb mode stops there being any "Bank selection" toggle. 1. so i would like to try and create 5 "pages" of the apc's clip launch. in doing so i would need a button to be on for which ever page i wanted to select, possibly the Scene Launch buttons but preferably the track selection at the bottom. The idea being to have: Page1: Deck A only Page2: Deck B only Page3: Deck C only Page4: Deck D only Page5: All 4 decks as in the Andre Detoxx or Raising Cane tsi's, (This function has been scrapped in the TSI as it needs a midi translator) this way i can be aware of all 4 decks play functions and basic loops but if i want to use effects and or cue points and loops etc i can have full toggle functionality on any individual deck. i would want this then to change the knobs with the same button to be controlling the parameters of these decks and corresponding effects, i assume this is done with modifiers..? 2. i'd like to do is have the knobs on a send state loop to avoid soft crossovers and to have the led's show the position, i am told this has issues on pc systems but i couldn't find the fix anywhere and i tried a .tsi that uses it... the only thing i noticed was the knobs were jerky but i didn't hear any "crackle" that i read about can someone expand on this please and maybe post the fix? My system is: Rampage III extreme MB I7 980x 12GB dominator GT RAM and an Audigy 2 Running dual screen from a Geforce 450 GTS, but that shouldn't matter for audio so there is nothing here that means my system will not handle anything i throw at it (except perhaps usb 2 bandwidth) 3.Oh and before i post this one other thing to say, i noticed that some people split their tsi files up and have for example Mixer, Deck A, Deck B, Fx as standalone maps inside the tsi do modifiers then work across all for example if i put a modifier in Mixer control and then make something in Deck A do something if that modifier is putting out a 1 will it trigger in Deck A too or do i have to write the modifier into each of the pieces separately effectively having 6 or 7 modifier 1 in's for the same Key on the apc? hope that makes sense... gonna try to make it all work whilst i await a reply. EDIT: I've attatched the FINISHED 2.1 TSI here and the jpeg of the mapping to go with it EDIT2: Got the jpeg slightly wrong it's ACBD for faders vol and pitch fixing it now, t'was very late when i was doing it. Fixed, this post now has correct jpeg EDIT3: Version 3 and jpeg on Page 3 including EQ Kills and Previewload/unload and seek Comes complete with correct LED light sync for EQ, Filter and Effect Amounts. | |
Dwight Thukral 28.07.2011 | hey im what you call a "noob" at mixing. just got traktor n an apc40 not to long ago. first time poster. just want to tell you your controler is amazing. i saw a youtube vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lMbsAIBs3uE , and im curious if in your next update you could somhow incorperate what this broad did. the only thing i dont really like about this mapping is the efects are a little confusing to deal with, however they are really flexable which is great maybe if you were to put what she did in the vid on track select 5-6 and just have the drywet nob. 5 for a-c and 6 for b-d. i wouldn't even no where to start haha. lemme know what you believe |
Lavona Lobner 24.07.2011 | Only 1 button added here but both PC and MAC versions, The old Loop button in the Jpeg above is now Audio Recorder On, so you can record your mixes with a button. Blinks Green when off and Amber when recording. Simple but effective i believe. I'm closing Traktor now. The fix can be downloaded here: This one lets you save and turn on and off the other 3 ports http://www.mediafire.com/?dbyv4ucdb15jvwi You will also need to install MIDI YOKE and to do that you will have to turn off your Windows User Account Controls completely. Then it's as simple as starting the Max patch from the link before traktor with your APC turned on. Then route From Traktor 1: In from MIDI Yoke 1 To Traktor 1: Out to MIDI Yoke 2 From Controller 1: Akai APC40 To Controller 1: Akai APC40 Start Traktor and the APC should light up perfectly. i have updated the TSI above to already route to and from traktor via MIDI Yoke. & if it doesn't work straight away, u may need to restart your computer after installing MIDI Yoke, i did, then start max patch route it then start traktor. |

Carlena Rodstrom 24.07.2011 | Thanks so much for your hard work. We really do appreciate it! |
Lavona Lobner 24.07.2011 | *Sorted the hotcue states and the LED Ring assignments. *Loop Length and Loop moved to Tap Tempo and nudge buttons on APC. *Key and Gain given separate Bank assignments. **Please read the Jpeg for full details and information on new positions of features.** If anyone knows where the Fix for 'Send Monitor State In' audio glitches on PC's is please post me a reply with a link, the bug is the only problem with this mapping and doesn't affect Mac's. FIXED SEE BELOW |
Christal Jonason 21.07.2011 | fantastic work man |
Lavona Lobner 20.07.2011 | Version 3.4 So i found the problem i had 'send monitor outs' as well as outs on the LED rings, they are not necessary, but now the hotcues can have Monitor Ins and the led's stay on, i will get to the bottom of the colour thing soon for version 4 but now nothing goes off or resets and nothing is soft takeover... yay!!! EDIT: So i've been using it for an hour and now there seems to be an issue where the hotcues make the audio jump that is playing so i will investigate this 2moro but it's still much better |
Virginia Adeyinka 18.07.2011 | thx!!!!! |
Lavona Lobner 12.07.2011 | So ignoring the Hotcue LED's still as they turn off. * Nudge + & - are now Loop Length Set (Still Deck Select) * Under "State 4" where you can change the Knob Banks you now have bottom row Gain and top row Key ACBD as before *Everything else is the same except the Layout, it is in 4 Deck mode so if you want to use sample deck functions just make sure you change Deck C to sample Deck in Preferences. I will make a new Jpeg soon. http://soundcloud.com/delusions-of-self-d-o-s/for-the-sun-mix-3-final |
Virginia Adeyinka 20.05.2011 | good job, i am enjoying with you .tsi. regards from Madrid (Spain). |
Lavona Lobner 18.05.2011 | Fixed the update on the shift modifier and Hotcues now are colour dependent in their assignment stored or not: Though they still go off when you push them if you switch decks and back again it updates the colours correctly. although they are backwards unfortunately so it's Flashing Amber for Stored and Green for Not Stored. in case you hadn't realised when a track is playing you can push a hotcue and the Loop button simultaneously and it will loop the hotcue point... probably only practical pre mixing in but useful none-the-less |

Lavona Lobner 17.05.2011 | yes sample decks are assigned specifically and so there are Sample Deck A Slots 1-4 Deck B 1-4 etc... look through the Mapping and change the Device Target on the Play Sample Slot, there is a drop down menu on the bottom and you can select them there. Just change the all 4 to Deck D Slot 1-4 |
Glinda Seales 16.05.2011 | Hey non spacial One question. I can't seem to use deck d as a sample deck and control with your mapping? Does your mapping only allow use of c as a sample deck? Thanks in advance The mapping is wicked! I love the ability to browse my collection and scroll with the rotary. I also like being able to compliment my vci-100 arcade with the apc 40. |
Lavona Lobner 16.05.2011 | Thanks very much. There are still some things i would like to sort out, namely the shift modifier changes the LED rings when pushed but doesn't reset to the EQ and Filter when released and of course the Hotcue LED's. i will have to spend some time getting this right but will do a version 4 when i have them both working properly. might be a week or 2 cos i wanna mix more than trawl over midi signals for a bit. any suggestions welcome as additions for the next version too, i will be adding a Duplicate Deck + Play from same position so that you can filter/FX on it with the track still running underneath, i believe this is a nice touch for loop work etc. |
Rodger Mangus 14.05.2011 | Your mapping is great. Thanks also for the updates |
Glinda Seales 13.05.2011 | I spent a couple of hours playing around with version3 of your tsi and am enjoying using the apc40 with tp2. It will take some getting used to but I'm impressed with it. Thanks for all of your hard work |
Lavona Lobner 13.05.2011 | OMG so sorry just opened traktor and found that it didn't save all of it including the send monitor in from hotcues were still there... fixed to how i said it was for version 3 here... jpeg is the same VERSION 3.1 |
Lavona Lobner 12.05.2011 | So here is Version 3 and corresponding jpeg. I found i needed to Preview load and unload, and Seek Preview tracks so i added those and then thought i might aswell add EQ Kills to the remaining buttons, look at the jpeg to see where they all are. Still have not fixed the hotcue led problem. |
Lavona Lobner 12.05.2011 | OK so currently gonna give up on it for a while but the buttons now stay on for hotcues but they all act the same colour and if you set a hotcue pushing MOD3 will set them back to orange from green, the last pushed button will still go out unless you push MOD3 again or any other button and the light out will swap, also in my dabbling i managed to invert all the EQ and filter directions so i've reset them in this version... This is totally workable with no fuss at all i'm mixing with it as we speak and all seems great for now. any thought please post them. |
Lavona Lobner 12.05.2011 | wow i didn't realise how much code 9 send monitor in's could have taken up the file is half the size lol... and it is correct |
Lavona Lobner 12.05.2011 | Oh so now i have them all mapped out including a Delete Hotcue and there isn't a visible way to separate the buttons. so it changes the colour of all the buttons when you set or delete a single hotcue and the button you push goes off if you delete one whilst the rest change colour. bah grrrr feck.... here is the tsi to see for yourself |
Lavona Lobner 13.05.2011 | nope yeah sussed it... will post tsi dhortly no need for send monitor in's just got rid midi ranges relating to anything but Load and has flashing button... tsi shortly |
Lavona Lobner 13.05.2011 | Right i found a big issue with this and i need some real help on it cos i'm very lost as to how to make this work properly. If you have downloaded my tsi you will notice that when you press the Hotcue buttons it also resets the EQ and Filter knob rings and the soft crossover doesn't work properly... so when you move the knob, and only then the EQ Kills for a split second and is noticeable if you are playing... though it does not do it until you move the knob so you could get away with it... Now the reason is in order to get the LED's to work for said hotcues you have to have a Send Monitor IN which is global... now this is the same command used on the Activator 1 button that i said to use when you open traktor... How can i separate these commands as i app apparently need 8 for the individual cue buttons and 1 to sync the apc with traktor? I might solve it before i get a reply but this means 1 more tsi to post yet. INVERT on the knobs does not work.... No INVERT on Send Monitor IN does not work... This guy has the same problem and there is no reply there fixing it: Quote: Hello all, I'm currently using a VCI-100 as my primary interface but I decided to mess around with the APC40 that I have to tinker with using the clip launch grid for Hotcue launching. However, I'm running into some confusion regarding the LED outputs and I was hoping someone could help me understand things better. What I am ultimately hoping for is to have the APC40 clip launch rows 1-4 buttons 1-8 map to Traktor Pro decks A-D Hotcues 1-8 respectively. Now, making the actual launch trigger work is trivial however, it's a bit of a confusing bundle of buttons when none of them are lit. I figured the LEDs on the APC40 would be ideal since they have multiple colors. Imagine the buttons.... - dimmed out when there is no mapped cue - lit up yellow for each cue point - lit green for each loop - lit red for fade in/out cue points - each of the above blinking when it's the active cue Having access to all the hotcues for all 4 decks at once could be a lot of fun. In Traktor Pro when you set a midi assignment for Hotcue State the controller range defaults as -1 to 5. I believe (sorta guessing) that maps to -1 - no mapping 0 - Grid 1 - Cue Point 2 - Load 3 - Fade In 4 - Fade Out 5 - Loop On the APC40 each clip launch has the following state numbers 0=off 1=green 2=green blink 3=red 4=red blink 5=yellow 6=yellow blink 7-127=green Now when I load a track with regular Cue points saved as Hotcues 1-8 and I use a midi mapping for Hotcue 1 State (controller range = -1, 5 and midi-range 1,1) then the clip launch button correctly turns green when I load. Awesome! If I change the midi-range to 2,2 then it blinks green when I load the track. So on and so on. Ok so that seems fine but the issue comes in when I "use" the hotcues. As soon as I press the button mapped to Hotcue 1 the light goes out and wont come back until I reload the track into the deck. Press it again and poof the light is gone. It seems like something or other causes Traktor to reset the state of the LED output to off as soon as you use the cue... doesn't seem to make any sense and that's why I am stuck with it. I've also tried mapping where the controller range was set as -1,5 and midi range 0,7. when this is the case then each hotcue type correctly gets one of the different color patterns. This still doesn't change the LED from going out after the first time you press the button. Is there something about "Hotcue # State" that changes when you trigger it which would cause LED Output lights to cease to function when mapped accordingly? Thanks for any tips or ideas on fixing this! |

Lavona Lobner 11.05.2011 | So i believe this is the final version i will need to make it has all LED Rings set correctly so if it's a middle locator like EQ or filter knobs it is centered solid and grows left or right and if it's an effect control it grows from left to full, all update across banks and none of them interfere with the others now... also the sample trigger buttons are led mapped correctly Red not playing flashing playing. i haven't made it in version 1 as i figure the fader setup of 2 will be more intuitive for others. There are 2 addition to this in terms of buttons 1 is Activator Button 1 is a Send Monitor State IN. Push it once you've started traktor and it will sync the all LED's. THe only problem is it sets the EQ knobs to Kill so you must only do this once and then move the knobs where you want them and play from there on. (iit lights up so once you've got it lit don't push it again. 2 is 4th row along 2nd button down (green) has 2 functions: push: reset FX1 Mod 3 (button above it (red)) +push: reset FX2 Hope this is as enjoyable to use for someone else. |

Just that command and i will be sorted for the rest... oh and what about dumb mode? doesn't your apc go into dumb mode when you load ableton up? or does the midi translator stop it from doing it somehow... cos i need it in standard mode in traktor and would love to use ableton plugin to play live some of my tracks with the apc in a mix. thanks man. |
Lavona Lobner 10.05.2011 | So this gets more complicated but as i said above there are banks for the bottom right most knobs and so for ease and separation i have used Bank 8 or Track Selection button 8: There are 2 versions here as i have changed the faders in version 2 from the original way round to make more sense of their positions both in shift and normal modes. Version 1 has Deck Vol then Deck Pitch for ACBD respectively and has the effect selectors as hold shift and move FX3: 1,2,3, FX4: 1,2,3 FX1, FX2 thee are not bank specific so don't worry they are always there. Version 2 is more realistically intuitive i feel but you might not it is: left to right Vol ACBD faders 1-4 Pitch ACBD faders 5-8 then on shift hold FX1, FX2, FX3:1,2,3, FX4: 1,2,3. the rest is the same for both: So your Sample Deck which i have as Deck C if you change this you must change the midi messages to Sample deck 1-4 slot 1-4 accordingly. MOST CONTROLS ARE HIDDEN IN TRACK SELECTION BUTTON 8: not hidden are the play buttons which are the bottom most right square of 4 buttons they should be red but will go off when you press them... trying to fix this.... at any point in your mix you can press these buttons to play/pause the sample in the slot, top row 1,2 bottom row 3,4. Available when on any deck selected as it's the matrix. You then have your Dry/Wet control on Shift+Master Fader (also not hidden on 8) Slot Play Mode (single/Looped) is accessed from PAN, Send A, Send B, Send C = 1,2,3,4 respectively and must be double tapped for some reason for on and off. Loop Rec Length is changed by Nudge - and + and Loop Record Delete is Tap Tempo. On 8 then and in both the versions of course: So you can either load a sample from your list with: Detail View= Slot 1, Rec Quantization = Slot 2, Midi Overdub = Slot 3, Metronome = Slot 4. or you can record a sample from the mix with you guessed it the Rec button above the xfader and use the STOP button next to it to play/stop its playback. Shift +: Detail View = Load Loop Rec to Slot 1 Rec Quantisation = Load Loop Rec to Slot 2 Midi Overdub = Load Loop Rec to Slot 3 Metronome = Load Loop Rec to Slot 4 Ok so the buttons inside the square under the knobs starting with Clip/Track are double taps also on/off?: Filter slot1 on/off, Filt slot 2 on/of, Filt slot 3 on/off, Filt slot 4 on/off. The knobs above are bottom row vol and top row filter cut off for slots 1,2,3,4. And that's it so far... so remember if you want to trigger samples just go ahead in the matrix but if you want to control them you need to be in STATE 8. Peace and thanks for your time in reading my crap. |
Reece Murray 10.05.2011 | I believe the best idea is what you were initially saying. No need for multiple computers and controllers as long as your computer is up to snuff. Isolating the midi messages to their own virtual channels via midi routing/translating programs does the trick. Activating one page "turns off" the other and vice versa. To the OP: just from a usability perspective, why do you want to isolate decks to unique pages? I've never felt like the APC40 didn't have enough controls on one "page" to handle multiple decks. I feel like having to believe about what page you're on, and to change it to control whatever deck just adds precious seconds and disconnects you more from your interface. I'm not trying to get down on ya, I'm just curious about your preferred choice. (I've gotta have everything right at my fingertips, or I start to get remote dj syndrome, it's just not as fun. FYI, I run 4 decks on a Traktor page and the default Live APC40 functionality on a second page, with a few tweaks - midi translation is def neccessary. |

Lavona Lobner 11.05.2011 | Here is an updated mapping with faders and knobs not in shift mode now being ordered differently as follows Faders Left to right Deck A Vol, Deck A Pitch, Deck C Vol, Deck C Pitch, Deck B Vol, Deck B Pitch, Deck D Volume, Deck D Pitch. Knobs: Top: EQ High A, EQ High C, EQ High B, EQ High D 3rd: EQ Mid A, EQ Mid C, EQ Mid B, EQ Mid D 2nd: EQ Low A, EQ Low C, EQ Low B, EQ Low D Bottom: Filter A, Filter C, Filter B, Filter D also fixed is the correct direction to turn knob with shift modifier on loop select (normally Filter A) and the play button now flashes orange when waiting to play or paused and green when flashing when playing, then at 30 secs left f track will start flashing red. bare in mind that these are still deck specific so if you're not in the right deck it won't change colour. and the Hotcue buttons now stay lit but i'm working on their state changes. EDIT: added Beat Sync to Sync button by holding MOD3 which is the 4th one across the top and is red. |
Eddie Maina 10.05.2011 | cool. will check this out... so basically you have mapped the matrix to be deck a, b, c or d depending on what track select button you have activated - right? this is pretty neat because i wanted to do the same except - i wanted page 1 = traktor and page 2 = resolume... thanks in advance... will let you know how it works for me once i get a minute this week... |
Lavona Lobner 09.05.2011 | Ok so here is the crude 1st version of this page flip map... i say crude as i am not nearly using all of the apc yet. for instance there is nothing mapped to the activator, solo or record arm buttons nor the send A,B,C, Pan, nor the 8 buttons above the cross fader here is a basic run down of what you have here: Cross fader = cross fader Cue Knob = Browser search toggle thing scroll mejazz and Play button above cross fader toggles browser full screen view Scene launch buttons 1-4 are your page selectors, they select the deck that all the controls on the matrix work. The matrix is top half mapped to the selected deck, and so you get a page flip. The 5th button sets your deck to MASTER DECK From top left in matrix: 1 Sync (red) 2 Play (red/flashing green), 3 Set and unset Loop (orange), 4 button next is Modifier 3 and allows you to delete Hot cues (must be held) 5 Next 8 buttons that are orange filling up the right hand side of the matrix are the hot cues 1-8, press to set hold to play and use hold MOD3 and press to delete. 6 back to the left 2nd row down: 7 Red buttons on left FX1,2,3 on (deck select active) so it will only turn on the deck you are actively in (green when on) Fx4 is the 4th along and 3rd down also Red (green when active) 8 then you have for both FX1&2 an on button for 2 parameters green and orange (flashing when on) 3rd row and 4th row 2nd and 3rd along. 9 and the bottom row of the matrix has 3 on's for FX3 green, orange and red. 10 Back up under the hot cues you have the same for FX4 11 and under that you have a square for Filter on and off, this is not deck select but from left to right Deck A,B and under C,D, these will be visible for all decks on all decks. 12 Then on the Clip Stop row you have 1-4 monitor cue toggles and then miss one button and you have load track to deck A - D (column 6-9, deck D is Stop all clips) If you then hold shit and use the same 4 buttons it unloads the respective deck. So that's the easy bit out of the way... Faders: 2 states: 1 with shift one without. No Shift as follows: 1 Volume Deck A- 2 Pitch Deck A - 3 Volume B - 4 Pitch B - 5 Volume C - 6 Pitch C - 7 Volume D - 8 Pitch D Master is Master Volume Hold Shift as follows: This is backwards cos i didn't realize about 1&2 Left to Right: Hold Shift 1 FX3 param Selector1 - 2 FX3 Param Selector2 - 3 FX3 Param Selector3 - 4 FX4 Param Selector1 - 5 FX4 Param Selector2 - 6 FX4 Param Selector3 - 7 FX1 Param Selector - 8 FX2 Param Selector got it... simple so far eh.... So now This is the bit that will get you going woah shit that's cool.... YOUR APC MUST BE IN STANDARD MODE FOR THIS TO WORK PROPERLY. IN OTHERWORDS TURN IT OFF AND ON AGAIN IF YOU'VE STARTED ABLETON SINCE IT WAS SWITCHED ON. So your wondering what about the knobs... well... You notice it has a green light on for track select 1 on your apc. so if your in standard mode these work like banks for the lowermost knobs near the cross fade... yup the ones with the nice box around them and the track selections, so i have setup 3 banks so far as follows and seeing as there are 9 it's pretty limitless as to what can become knob controlled this way. Bank 1 including top knobs too. Very Top EQ High A, EQ High B, EQ High C, EQ High D Next to Top EQ Mid A, EQ Mid B, EQ Mid C, EQ Mid D these are static whatever state you are in. These are not. Top of bottom: EQ LowA, EQ Low B, EQ Low C, EQ Low D Bottom: Filter A, Filter B, Filter C, Filter D Bottom holding Shift: Loop Length, Gain (Deck Select), Monitor Mix, Monitor Volume easy enough remember you need to be in Bank 1 for those. Banks 2&3: So here is where your effects parameters are: BAnk 2 is FX 1 & 2 and Bank 3 is FX 3&4 Put simply there are 6 knobs of 8 assigned and they control the amount of the selected parameter on the given effect. so it is Bank 2 Top: FX1 Param 2, FX1 Param 3, FX2 Param 3, FX 2 Param2 Bottom: FX1 Param 1, Blank, Blank, FX2 Param 1 Bank 3: Top: FX3 Param 2, FX3 Param 3, FX4 Param 3, FX4 Param2 Bottom: FX3 Param 1, Blank, Blank, FX4 Param 1 So that's where i'm at so far with this have a look gimme some feed back and join in the fun... i'll make a jpeg maybe tomorrow but i probably want to play with my new toy for a bit first now it's mapped finally. laters Robbie EDIT: I have found a few bugs already and updated the tsi here accordingly any other bugs you find please let me know. |
Lavona Lobner 09.05.2011 | got them working pretty ok now with the invert switch, but it's not on everything, just tried a random send monitor state in from a knob and it went all jerky so i've left it as is for now... almost ready for a beta post. |
Elvina Zwally 09.05.2011 | Try making a send monitor state IN instead of OUT for the led's. |
Lavona Lobner 09.05.2011 | before reading an further i have sussed it and am laughing at how easy it really is... tsi will be coming soon. 1 draw back i can't have the extra 4 deck page so it's only 4 pages... but it's working nicely... i will be posting the tsi as soon as it's all mapped but i will need someone to look at my LED's and tell me why they light up then go off when i've pushed em... bah.... always a niggle in't there |
Elvina Zwally 09.05.2011 | I love this page idea you have here. If you can get this page thing you are talking about working, please let me know as this is very relevant to my interests. As far as modifiers go, I can't tell if they are specific to each individual midi device, or if they are global. In my .tsi, I have different modifiers in each midi device, but they are all mapped to the shift key as a hold function. I'm not sure if it's necessary to have multiple modifiers that are essentially the same thing, or if I can get away with just one, but the way I looked at it was this: If i want to have a shift modifier for my mute functions, I made one within the "EQ Kills" midi device. If I then wanted to use that same shift key to control the cue knob to browse a folder, I made another one in the "Browser midi device". It keeps things easier to diagnose for troubleshooting, but it could be completely unnecessary. I'm not quite sure how to deal with knobs and the send states just yet, but I'll post one of the links I found that have some info on knobs. Hopefully it's of some use concerning your second question. http://www.djranking s.com/community /sho...088#post151088 Please keep us updated on this! If you can get this page thing worked out, it'll open up a world of possibilities for some really sweet stuff. Well, for me at least! |
Lavona Lobner 09.05.2011 | Ok so i've been at this for hours now and i'm getting quite lost... i can't tell if my apc is in Standard mode or not? i put it in dumb mode yesterday and i've had my computer on all evening and day, apc has been unplugged both power and usb and computer restarted. basically the track selections send a learnable message on their respective CC's but the F3 (1st cell) just stays on Channel 01 F3. doesn't matter if i hold the other button or not..? have tried them as modifiers and just as buttons to select deck but once i start adding more modifiers i lose either play on all decks, it switches between decks and plays or i don;t have led feed back which is mod 1 = 0 with no modifier actually mapped... help |
