Numark Mixtrack/Pro map (TSI)
Numark Mixtrack/Pro map (TSI) Posted on: 13.02.2011 by Porter Jacquet Hey what's everyone!I've been working on this 4 Deck, 4 FX Units, plus [Shift] layer map for a few days now and I do believe it is finally finished and working great. I posted it over at TraktorFreaks in the controller mappings section. Try it out, let me know what you believe. Cheers, - B | |

The only way i can keep the track stopped is if i keep moving the jog wheel slightly. If anyone knows how i can get this to work it would be greatly appreciated Thanks |

Porter Jacquet 01.05.2012 | It's more of a limitation of the controller manager. There isn't a way to automate the LED on/OFF within the program. From the controller standpoint, it should be fairly easy to make them blink, but that would be some sort of hardware mod. The controller manager software is pretty limited in what it can do. |
April Jedlowski 01.05.2012 | it's so crazy, it is a basic function !! no ???? can I ask this question on numark support ? You can configure a lot of function but it 's not possible to do basic function !?? A smaler controler can do this ! .... can you call the numark support ? |
Porter Jacquet 30.04.2012 | Nope. No luck with the blinking LEDs. I just don't believe this controller can do it. |
April Jedlowski 30.04.2012 | Hi Devil07, Have you doing some test for my request ? thanks |
April Jedlowski 14.04.2012 | project : after "LOAD A" button , do a flashing led to "PLAYA" button -> after press flashing "PLAYA", the track is played, - the "PLAYA" led button can be fixe on ; - the "Cue" led button can be fixe on; - the "sync" led button can be fixe on when 2 files can be synchronise ... after "LOAD B" button , do a flashing led to "PLAYB" button, ... idem that deck A thanks for your feedback |
Porter Jacquet 13.04.2012 | I've been trying to figure out the flashing LED for a while. I don't believe it's possible with this controller. The cue button LED I can look into this weekend. |
April Jedlowski 13.04.2012 | Thanks, it is working but it is the same lighting than traktor default mapping. For example, - I would like to know if it is possible to flashing the play button just after you load a track. - and when your file is played, the cue button can be "on" ... to say it is possible to stop music ... Is that the lights can light up more often? |
Porter Jacquet 13.04.2012 | The map linked in the OP is for an old version of Traktor Pro. http://traktorfreaks.com/freaks/mappingview.aspx?id=264 Try this one. It's for the most current version. If you have any problems, just hit me up. |
April Jedlowski 13.04.2012 | Hi Devil, I have some probleme with a Mixtrack Pro and traktor pro 2.1.2 I can import your mapping but all mapping don't work. The play button is not working for example. When I press and hold the cue button the song is played :-s can you help me to find the best mapping ? wizard config of traktorPro : - External controller : Mixtrack Pro - External mixer : no - Select your setup : 2track deck choice are : 2 trk deck + 2 sample decks ; 2 track decks ; 4 track decks ; 2 track decks + 2 live input - English keybord layout Computer Win7 FR |
Antonia Pellicano 15.03.2012 | Okay thank you so much for your time. All I want is the functions to work as intended foe the each button on the controller. |
Antonia Pellicano 15.03.2012 | Thank you very much ill try it out and get back to you. |
Porter Jacquet 15.03.2012 | I sent you a pm with a link to a map to try. |

Open default settings folder, then the controller folder. Inside the Numark folder will be the default map for the mixtrack pro. |
Antonia Pellicano 15.03.2012 | Can anyone please help me out. i want to use my newmark mixtrack pro with traktor scratch pro 2 but every mapping i find is way to complicated for this newbie here. All i want is all the buttons to work exactly how their intended on this controller, effects to activate effects, play/pause to play/pause, not that crazy stuff like effect activates something else, i just want a plain mapping if anyone can help please do i would appreciate it greatly. have a good day everyone. |
Aida Abdulkareem 19.11.2011 | Thanks so much for your help. Really appreciate that. Just what I wanted. Works great! |

Aida Abdulkareem 19.11.2011 | Lovin all the TSI settings. I have used a few of them at Traktor Freaks. At the moment I am using this one. http://www.4shared.com/file/OFa3YCu-...o_Mapping.html ONE little problem! When I switch the Scratch button on it lets me scratch when i touch the inside of the jog wheels. But the outside rim does nothing. To nudge you have to switch scratch off. Then the inside and outside rim both act as nudge. Do you know how to make the outside rims nudge when scratch is on? Carl |
Porter Jacquet 27.08.2011 | Sure. 1) Depending on the OS you are using (Win7 for me), there should be a folder in your Documents folder labeled, Native Instruments. Inside there is a folder labeled Traktor 2.0.3. Put the .TSI file inside the settings folder within the Traktor folder, which is where Traktor will look by default when importing the map. 2) Start Traktor and open the Preferences panel. At the bottom of that panel you will see an option for "Import". Once you click on that, a window will open showing you the folder where you placed the .TSI file in step 1. Click on the file you want to import and select "Open". 3) You are next given a check-list of categories for import where the only option is already selected, Controller Mappings. Click "OK". The map should now be imported. You can go to the Controller Manager to verify, or close the Preferences panel and start playing to make sure it works. |
Lois Boonstra 27.08.2011 | can you walk me trew the correct way to import it because the map isnt working |
Porter Jacquet 26.08.2011 | I believe the default you are referring to has something to do with the controller manager opening and closing. I have the same issues when working on the maps. As long as you imported the map correctly it should still work. Sent from my ThunderBolt using Tapatalk |
Lois Boonstra 26.08.2011 | hey devil i recently downloaded your map and imported it to traktor pro 2, but whenever i go to controller management, select your mapping in the drop down, and close the preference window it reverts back to the generic keyboard mapping. please tell me what i am doing wrong |

Cherryl Thyfault 19.08.2011 | Devil_07 I'm using your mapping for my Numark Mixtrack Pro but when I cue up a song the cue mix nob isnt controlling how much of the cued song vs. the playing song im hearing its adjusting the volume in my headphones. Any easy way to fix that? |

Catrice Giessel 07.06.2011 | Awesome! Very much looking forward to it. I messed around with your old one for several hours last evening and I was really impressed, could do so much more than before. thanks for all the work you're putting into this and for sharing it. |

Catrice Giessel 07.06.2011 | Hey Devil, I saw your post over on TraktorFreaks about you working on a TP2 mapping using the sample decks. Any luck with that? |
Porter Jacquet 07.03.2011 | Ok, so I wasn't able to borrow a video camera over the weekend to shoot a video demo today, so I made a quick-reference .pdf included in the archive download. At some point this week I'll get a video demo made, until then, check out the updated map. The link in the first post had been updated, but apparently I can't edit that post, so here is another link to my latest 4 Deck Advanced map. UPDATE: I now have a video camera, so I'll get a video demo done soon. |

I'm finding lots of good mapping out there so probably no reason to do that except to learn how in case i want to make my own. My question is - when you guys reference adding a shift key, is that the same as a modifier in the controller mapping? or did i miss a setting to add a shift? |
Porter Jacquet 06.03.2011 | [IMG][/IMG] Here is a pic of what the labels look like that I'm using. Each of the four blacked-out buttons up top are used for turning the various pages of control ON/OFF for the 5 buttons and 3 knobs below. It kinda looks confusing, but once I finish up the .pdf and make a demo video, it will be pretty easy to navigate the controls. I also have an Excel file with all the controller entries I'm going to add to the download. It will make it a lot easier for someone to take what I've done and make their own changes to it. Without it, those 400+ entries in the Controller Manager would have had me going in circles. I spent most of the time trying to get a good layout where i wasn't accidentally grabbing the wrong knob or pushing the wrong button at the wrong moment. So either I got used to this final layout, or I actually did come up with something pretty intuitive to use. I guess we'll find out soon enough. lol |
Georgie Gratch 05.03.2011 | Can't wait for the advanced mapping! Do you have labels on your controller corresponding to your mapping by any chance? I might need to make myself some to familiarize myself with the mapping but if you make a video that will help a lot. |
