Yeah it's in there mate.

Click Preferences ... then Decks (on the left - 8 down)

Then right at the bottom there's a dropdown called Color Mode

I'm digging the Spectrum waveform the best - looks much better.

Can anyone inform me on how to change the colour of the wave form in the preferences please. I previously saw a video on how to change in the s4 bit of preferences and dont seam to have that option.

Kinda pathetic...they have ALL THAT MONEY and can't keep a site up? Ahhh, who the heck is hosting their site? I mean everyone in IT knows that when you're a huge company (like NI) and are launching your newest and greatest software you want to make sure that you're ready to handle the traffic. The sad part is that it's not even that difficult to keep a site up - even with all this traffic :S

Also, from a business standpoint, you're losing sales and frustrating people - I know all of us S4ers have had a free upgrade and all but what about those ready to blow over $200? Bad, bad, BAD! - I STILL LOVE YOU THOUGH NI -
You do realize that you weren't supposed to get this until FRIDAY

t o be fair i believe you have to credit NI for getting the new software to us all earlier than Friday, and i know they had problems with the site but they sorted it out pretty quick and there must have been thousands & thousands of people downloading the tp2 software when they realized it was available...

Slightly in their defense they did make a change eat some point because Thomas@NI posted that they made a server fix and almost instantly the site was loading faster than ever.

From "the other" community :

Possible FIX.

I had this problem all day with being restricted. I noticed if you go into the store and add the "Traktor Pro 2 Upgrade download" instead of using the link you get:

TRAKTOR PRO 2 Upgrade Download
139.00 USD

instead of:
TRAKTOR PRO 2 Upgrade Download
79.00 USD

Interesting ... so I then tried to check out and I was able to enter E-VOUCHER and it counts as -79.00. I then went back and removed the 139 version from the cart. Added the voucher and it worked. It seems like you need to trick it -- before it NEVER let me enter the voucher.

hope this works for the rest of ya!

...it worked for me...i found it out by myelf just a few minutes before finding this post...

If you want, but I suggest downloading it now and saving the hassle of trying to battle it out with everyone else trying to upgrade.

Props to NI for giving us S4 owners a couple of days head start!

The problem with s4 users: you are sent a voucher to redeem at the store, not the serial :/

Anyway, I'm reanalizing the whole thing with the demo to update waveforms.

"One of the products in your shopping bag is only available to customers who fulfill certain criteria. Please check if all your products are registered to the username you are currently logged in with. Please address any queries to our Sales Support..."

So this message pops up because the servers got to much traffic on them? Strange type of message:P

Got mine. Instructions on how to upgrade while keeping cue points, beatgrids, etc. are provided in small font at the end of NI's email. Will be downloading and upgrading shortly.

What should I do??

All of my CUE points seem to be OK. You will loose any custom midi mappings, however. Easily solvable, just export anything before hand as separate items (edit, export) and then reimport each in new version.
