Seen as tho Karlos has put that thread up about the update and emails are going out, curious to has had their's yet?

I called customer support and they said to wait 2 weeks before calling. So for all those new S4 owners, you should get your voucher within 2 weeks. If not, call.

it's when you ask them for support by email, they give you a 'ticket number' so they can easily find your notes each time they talk to you.

Can anyone explain me what is that "NI Support ticket"? I've never heard of it.

all i have to say is that i was not too impressed about not receiving my voucher on the day of the release but simply waited for one to be sent.....well after about a week without one i sent NI a support ticket stating the situation and not two days later i had a response with my voucher they said it was sent with the rest of them but must have been lost in spam....i checked it but hey at that point it didnt matter, because they sent me the voucher again... All GOOD

I feel that NI's customer service is massively understaffed since the 50% off last year followed by the S4 release and lastly the Traktor 2 release. It'll be hard for them to catch up with the hiring to match the expanded customer base.

this statement is based on common sense only. I don't know what's the actual situation in the NI's office, of course.

I have opened a ticket, called and just posted on the community because it's been 4 days since I registered by S4. This is my first foray into Native Instruments. I'm switching from Serato to Traktor and so far I'm unimpressed with their customer service and lack of communication. I hope this isn't the trend with them.
Even when I call their registration customer support line I get a message that all agents are busy and to call back later. Not even an option to stay on hold until next available agent.
Is this normal for NI?

Nope, I'll wait 2 more business days since I registered on saturday evening . I guess if I don't get anything til wednesday I'll call to get support. Thanks!

I just got m S4 controller last week, I registered my software but I haven't received anything. How long does it take to get into the email?

I bought my S4 2 days ago haha, and got the email yesterday,

Just luck of the draw i guess.

I guess I must be one of the lucky ones. I received my update voucher and serial # on the 30th.

The only problem I'm having is downloading the actual thing! My internet connection isn't the greatest where I am, and it keeps crashing around the 100 MB mark. I dunno how long its gonna take to finish this 522 MB update!

Guys, keep in mind they don't work on weekends. I'm waiting for them to upgrade my license to scratch (got a regular one by mistake). There were issues at first with the S4 upgrade that had them working till 1AM (Berlin time). Ask in a civilized manner and you will be treated in the same way.

PS: They might have split the mailing list to ease some of the server load, just a thought.

definitely ask customer services. You need to get the T(S)P2 voucher and they will gladly send it ASAP.

In fact, the majority of S4 owners got it on the first day. Me and many others received the vouchers at around 5-7PM GMT.

It's probably just a technical shortcoming, which they've experienced and it will definitely get solved ASAP. Give it sometime for NI CS to process the request, i'm sure they are overwhelmed with a lot of tickets.

I would like to be understanding about this, but in my opinion existing owners of the S4 should be getting their email vouchers first. We have already invested in a new product and deserve the software that is being sold with new S4's.
Of course, though, NI will put preference on new customers because they already have our money and new customers are adding money to their wallets. It's business, I'd do it too.

What's you guys' suggestions? Email customer support? Wait? Fetal position and cry?
S4 owner, no email received, have checked spam...

Just ask politely, there's no need to be a dick about it. It's a person on the other end of your email, not a company. They've probably got enough shit to deal with at the moment, I bet product launches are far from fun for them.

Got an email yesterday, but I'm not sure what to believe of it...

Dear Sir or Madam,

Thing is, I ordered the download upgrade - not the physical one, and I didn't get any seperate email. Already sent an email to customer service, but no reply from them either.

It just leaves me wondering what the point is in pre-ordering: you pay first, and get your product last. Huh?

Yeah ok, keen for the new software, just want the S4 now haha, and not the 2/3 weeks it will probably take to reach Australia with T2 in the box.
