| Estela Follansbee 25.07.2009 | The number of buttons/knobs on the APC40 is great. For Ableton: I can't believe of another controller that gives you as much functionality. For Traktor: I use it to complement a VCI-100. I like the traditional layout of the VCI-100 and use it to EQ/mix/browse and load tracks. The APC40 gives me access to pretty much every other feature in Traktor without having to use a lot of modifiers and double assigning buttons. Nevertheless, the APC40 can function very well as an all-in-one controller. |

| Paul Davison 26.05.2009 | the build quality seems good. the size isn't that bad I don't believe. not with all the controls it has. the chassis is like an mpk49. it's lighter than i expected. the only complaint i have is the lack of an xy pad. it feels really weird controlling the x y parameters on two separate knobs. That can be remedied by an ipod touch or a monotouch though |
