Less than a week (VMS4). What to do? Posted on: 23.04.2010 by Shay Wyche D'oh!I've mis-read the delivery due date, it's a month to go. I'm seriously considering selling my EKS Otus to fund buying an American Audio VMS4. It's around a week until they hit the stores in the UK - link - I believe I really want one of these, as it has a great layout, it will do everything I need it to do and it's relatively cheap. My days of gigging are more or less over (I'm 37 years old now and haven't played out for 6 years), this seems too good to be true for me. Has anyone actually got there hands on one yet? | |

If so, why exactly? American Audio always comes so close, then they choose some wacked out short cut that deems the product a joke. This Rubber Button situation is the end of me taking this unit seriously....followed by the poor soundcard and the questionable Jogs. Bye Bye AA |
Random X 06.05.2010 | How where the jogs, bro'? |
robin loo 06.05.2010 | they felt kinda soft |

Arcelia Siebeneck 01.05.2010 | I believe a Behringer DDM 4000 with two EKS XP5's would be a better option... not much more expensive either. |
Random X 30.04.2010 | LoLz... You lazy @$$.... Nah, but seriously, it's a good way to start! |
Leann Zugay 30.04.2010 | Oh yeah, I forgot Fresh Fluke said we could download her tsi. Awesome because I really didn't want to map this all myself |

Karolis Petrauskas 29.04.2010 | Those jogs are the only thing that makes it look like a toy....I wish they would have come up with a cooler concept. Seems like a nice unit otherwise...not sure of the brand though. Anyone any products from them...I always thought of them as a similar brand to Gemini? |
nayit ruiz jaramillo 29.04.2010 | Dunno. The still show Traktor vids on the webpage but it clearly states Virtual DJ is bundled. One of the NI Moderators is a demo dj for the VSM4, she wont use VDJ for sho. |
Leann Zugay 29.04.2010 | Virtual DJ? Whyyyyyy |
Lilliana Perris 29.04.2010 | Yeah....i am big on the FEEL of a product. If its feel cheap....plastic....or unrobust....i will skip purely for that alone. As Zak says....its all midi. |
Leeanna Ayla 29.04.2010 | It looks like the bundled software has changed from Traktor to VirtualDJ. |
Nilsa Erben 29.04.2010 | Not so sure its a got a great soundcar, look at the specs: |

Latoria Kavulich 29.04.2010 | If its get your approval T, i'm sold ... even tho we spent 3k on gear toevening |
Random X 29.04.2010 | I want to test the analog part, 'cause nowadays the soundcards are good enough nowadays. (And I also have my Audio4DJ lying around) But for what the hype is worth, I believe it might be a nice alternative. |
Latoria Kavulich 29.04.2010 | I believe its worth the hype |
Stephan Roob 29.04.2010 | where are you guys finding prices on this? i've looked, surely not extensively enough, but still... gawd i want to smash my stealth into bits and snag one of these. |
Irwin Ney 28.04.2010 | i'm not sure if I would really use 4 decks for psytrance... I will try with 2 korg nano kontrol and my oxygen 8 v2... If I realise that 2 decks is enough for me I will stick with the complete Stanton SCS.3 System |

Random X 25.04.2010 | Sofar I have only seen Ean touch the surface at NAMM2010. He wasn't too sure about the jogs though. |
Wanda Insel 25.04.2010 | This may have been said elsewhere but haven't seen it..... When can we expect a full DJ TT review as I'm sure this will help in peoples decisions? |
