TouchOSC For Android!!!
TouchOSC For Android!!! Posted on: 08.12.2010 by Clay Lorow Its out.Its free. Its beautiful. http://hexler.net/software/touchosc-android Its just that I don't know how to set it up...did what it says in guide but no luck. I suppose the flaw is in "make sure both devices are connected to the same network". Is it simply needed to connect notebook and phone to same router or am I missing something?!?!??! | |
Aurea Kager 14.12.2010 | IM having problems with the screen resolution im on a Motorola Droid... It only shows a part of it. |

Reece Murray 09.12.2010 | Just got an email from the developer. The idea is to get to the same level of functionality as the ipad/iphone version, including as he said, some functionality that can be done on Android but not with iOS! Nice. But the caveat is that the software is donationware. Dev says the best thing to do is to contribute in order to see development continue. Ante up! |
Annalisa Shogren 09.12.2010 | YES! OMFG YES. At last! Basically not doable in Windows then?! Midi-Yoke is driving me INSANE! |
Random X 09.12.2010 | Yeahy! Karl Detken tweeted about this too! |
Lawerence Bernt 09.12.2010 | i believe fingerplay does have multitouch just so everyone knows |
Clay Lorow 09.12.2010 | Hmm, just got an idea... Android for PC + notebook with touchscreen??? xD |

Matha Obray 09.12.2010 | my laptop dont have enough ram....lol |
Random X 09.12.2010 | w00t! Will be trying this out shortly! |
Inez Marcinik 09.12.2010 | you wouldnt need a router anyway, you just create a network on your laptop and connect to that |
Clay Lorow 09.12.2010 | Hey!!! Found a solution for using this without router. So if you are going to a gig you don't need to carry router. Just install Connectify, as it says it turns your laptop into a router! http://www.connectify.me/ By doing that you can connect your phone to laptop directly, and it works gr8!!! Would make a video, but I broke screen on my Galaxy i7500 so I can't use it properly... |
Delila Vandommelen 09.12.2010 | Promising, I'll have to look into enabling wifi in the least disruptive way on my traktor boot then. |
Rolanda Clodfelder 09.12.2010 | Crap Crap Crap ... I wanted an excuse for an ipad! But 3 x 10' androids for the same price .. hot damn ! Once the functions get on par i'm jumping on board this freight train. |
Reece Murray 09.12.2010 | Played around a bit with this and all I can say is that I can't wait for the Android version to have the same level of functionality as the ipod/ipad version. Setting up the network was pretty easy, but I really believe the best thing about touchOSC for ipad is user-configurable controls. It should be cool as long as development continues. I'm imagining two MIDI fighters and a virtual mixer in between. Tiniest full featured rig ever! Looks sweet too. |
Matha Obray 08.12.2010 | ^^I would have to find the apk for u. U can check mobilism |
Joesph Vincze 08.12.2010 | Does anyone have a rooted device or access to the APK? My apad has nor Market FYI: Finger Play will send OSC I believe, but doesn't look as nice as this app. |
Reece Murray 08.12.2010 | Sweet. Been waiting for this! |
