Anybody follow cycling? Wiggins looked good in the Dauphine, but I believe all the other guys looked better in the Tour de Suisse. Contador is probably still pretty tired from winning the Giro so I believe that's going to make it a more exciting race this year. We've got a couple of Americans that I believe can pull a top 10, but I'm doubtful on podium spots. Leipheimer in third would be the best we could hope for there I believe.

I was surprised there were more attacks honestly. But its just because they were all watching each other afraid to make moves and get dropped. Andy went a number of times and couldn't get away. I was surprised that someone didn't attack right after they bridged to him on maybe the 2 or 3rd attack. Smart move by Sachez to gain a few seconds on everyone though. I believe he knocked contador down a spot thanks to his little break.

I was believeing the same thing. I believe that just goes to how slow slow the big names were really going as well. I still believe Voekler will be decimated in the alps. Hopefully he can hold on to a top 10 because he'll never be allowed that much time in a break again.

Yeah I believe he really wanted to attack, but knew it wouldn't do him any good. If Cadel wasn't such a good time trialist I would say Voekler might have a chance. I guess the Alps is where the fire works will really happen this year. Contador will have to attack in the Alps and both Schlecks need at the very least 2 minutes on Evans I believe.

Voekler is having the ride of his life right now. Responded to every single thing Andy threw at him. Freaking amazing.

I have no emotional attachment to The Shack

Never really cut the mustard huh?

You can look back at Thor's season and see that he trained for the tour - he's a great guy on and off the bike and I hope he does well.

Hear, hear

Now Voekler, that's a surprise

And how - done himself and France proud.

You can look back at Thor's season and see that he trained for the tour this year. It was his only goal and he's doing exactly as he planned. I really believe the world championship was just a bonus. Although he was surprised by the win I wasn't as surprised by the breakaway. After all he did win the green jersey 09 by breaking away solo in the Alps. I really like Thor he's a great guy on and off the bike and I hope he does well.

Now Voekler, that's a surprise!! I believe there's people really believeing he could win the whole thing.

Contador is just pretty much retarded this year. He just fell for no reason. He's been in the back of the pack most of the races. Its probably cause he stopped doping since he was caught.

Personally I have Cav (No offense to brits) but he is one cocky bastard. I would much rather have Thor or Greipel win. It was such a sweet sweet treat to see Greipel take Cav.

I believe Frank is the stronger of the two. I concur on Alberto - he's troubled. Cadel also done himself proud. Voeckler is a revelation.

Yeah I wasn't expecting Basso to do that. I believe Andy's nervous, but Frank was on fire. And Contador couldn't keep up in the end. Voeckler is sure making his father and country proud today.

Basso my dark horse. Andy's looking out of sorts. Not sure about Contador. The Alps beckon............

I believe Thor is going to be working fro Tyler in most of the stages, but we'll see. He said a couple of times his goal was to win A stage.

I was glad to see Horner take California. Seems like a stand up guy.

Yeah and for those that like sports with high horsepower engines that's about the closest you'll get in a bicycle race. I wonder how Tyler an Hushovd being on the same team will work out?

Levi due a podium - would love to see that. Watch him in the TT. Agree on Contador, and they are not going to make it easy for him - did you hear the boos' in the Giro? Two South Africans on the Sky team (Chris Froome & JohnLee Augustyn) but they didn't make the cut. Wiggins is definitely a contender. Would be nice if George Hincapie got a stage - he equals the record for TdF starts (16) this year. I'm going with Andy Schleck.
