That's what I thought...

I started to believe about the significant ones - even that list is too long! Here's a couple, though.

THE SUGAR HILL GANG (@Creamfields many years ago - I nearly cried. I shook hands with Master Gee!)
Public Enemy
Carl Cox
Sven Vath (I was NOT prepared for Sven Vath!)

Chemical Brothers
Dave Clarke
DJ Yoda

Jazzy Jeff (Desperate to see him again - I saw him pre-DVS...)

We used to travel the UK every weekend going to clubs. Summer time was amazing - festivals left, right and centre! Creamfields, Homelands, Global Gathering - those were awesome weekends...

Must stop now. This post could get loooooong...

I worked/lived in a punk club when I was 16/17 so I've seen so many punk bands, some famous some, not so famous that I couldn't even begin to list them.
saw them start a riot in 94 (I believe, it was the downward spiral tour) in Dallas...but one of the best live shows I have ever seen...

to list rock bands that have had a tremendous effect on me...

Well I have been to a couple of raves, but I don't remember a single DJ or artist at any of them besides Moby.

one of the first "raves" I went to had aphrodite as a headliner...I didn't know anything about edm or dnb in particular, but for a 16 year old it sure was memorable...along to my list of people that made an impression on me

Tipper, back in 2002, all breaks set fucking unreal how good that guy is technically
Planet of the Drums (Dieselboy, Dara, DB and AK1200) very good jungle evening very good sound as I remember
Sasha
Digweed - It didn't seem like either of them cued their records...has to be massive skill for sure

Carl cox - started his set by turning the monitors out (toward the crowd) and putting 2 new records (and left the previous dj's record on) -total trainwreck, then he just fiddles with the pitch controls and viola, perfect 3 deck mix, then he plugged his headphones on and went to work...

Oakenfold - I put this here because I lost my wallet at his show...

Fedde Le Grande
Richie Hawtin
Mr. White
Sebastian Ingrosso
The Disco Boys
Moonbootica
Laserkraft 3D
Lexy & K-Paul
George Morel
Eddie Thoneick

hope i didn't forget any.

Sebastian Ingrosso was by far my favourite. while not being the cleanest technically the show and vibe he put up just burned the house down. one of the few that obviously had at least as much fun as the crowd. close second are Lexy & K-Paul with their combo of DJing and kaospad performance.

Here are the people I've seen recently

Dj Friction
Dj Marky
Dj Hype
Goldie
Aphrodite
Q Project from Total Science

Surprisingly, Aphrodite absolutely killed it when he was here. I was very shocked.

I can't even begin to list everyone that I've seen over the course of time getting into EDM. I've been to Canada, driven down the entire east coast, and been out of state more times than I can count to go to shows. (I'm from Massachusetts).

Considering I was 16 when I first started sneaking out to clubs with my friends, and I'm 26 now... and I've been going to shows non-stop (except for a few periods of downtime).... yeah.

I know I've seen Dieselboy at least (usually 2-3) once every year for the past 10 years. The guy is my hero.

Other than that? I feel like I've seen a LOT of people. Going to Ultra, Starscape, and WEMF really opened my eyes up to the big players. And locally I go to a lot of "underground" shows as well, the unsung heroes of the scene.

So I can't list them all, but big props to them

24.11.2011
Shit I couldn't list all of those here.

Most recently in the past couple months it was:

Bart Bmore
AC Slater
Mord Fustang
Mark Kevening
Misstress Barbara

then this saturday it will be:

Needless to say I will be skipping borgore and friends
Candy Vardy

I've listed it as the ones I have seen most recently first:

Chris Liebing
James Zabiela
Yousef (seen him many a time, he's a local legend)
Radio Slave
Guy Gerber
Joris Voorn
Above & Beyond
Andy Moor
Jaytech
Eddie Halliwell
John O'Callaghan
Tiesto
Deadmau5

That's all I can remember for now, I'm sure there are many more DJs that I have not listed - I haven't listed the residents for evening s such as cream or circus that I have attended, as I doubt many would recognise them

David Guetta was the first DJ I ever saw, way back in 2007

Hopefully when I get paid tomorrow there will still be some tickets left for Circus, where I will be able to see Sven Vath
