Switching to Iphone after years of Blackberry

Switching to Iphone after years of Blackberry

Just bought the latest Torch 9860 last week, the BB answer to the Iphone. The phone was amazing while it lasted but it looks like I'm now a part of the "bricked blackberries" group! Found the problem that I'm having and it looks like many other people around the world are having the same issue. Even after replacements have been sent to them, the issue repeats itself with new phones too!

So this brand new phone lasted less than 2 weeks. Going into AT&T today and switching over to the Iphone...bye bye blackberry! It was a great run!

For sure guys! Yea I've been a bb addict for many years now, sticking by them and even standing up for them against my apple and android friends. I still stuck with them when I was available for upgrade just now but over a period of time, the little things have added up. After looking more into my issue on Crackberry.com, it seems like BB is just not as reliable as they used to be. I'm not willing to have my phone replaced only to have the problem repeated again (which is what many people have experienced already).

Very sad to leave RIM, but if their new phones aren't even stable anymore, I've lost faith for now. Let's see what QNX will have to offer!

Unfortunate man! When the Torch 9800 first came out (second day) i bought it coming from a previous Sony Ericsson and iPhone user (i had a HTC Diamond but hated it) and thought i wouldn't like it, but i love it more than my iPhone..

But i will probably still get a iPhone next.. *touch wood* i haven't had any problems with my BB yet.

Great change, I love the iPhone because it works. And by saying that it works, I said enough already.

Enjoy your new phone
