Spain looked impressive as always and Italy as resilient as ever. 2 definite contenders (if we didn't already believe so). Ireland just showed us why they haven't reached the finals of a major tournament for some years. Although they had a couple of tough decisions against them. Croatia's 2nd goal looked offside and i thought Ireland should have been awarded a penalty. Sadly I'm going to miss the England v France game toevening - i just pray England can finally show some of what we are capable of - but I'm filled with quiet pessimism if I'm honest!! |

Lucky victory for Germany (which is a pity, have never been a supporter of the national team scum), Portugal stronger than I expected - maybe they'll finally play properly at a tournament again, the last few were quite disappointing considering their potential. |
