O/T Snowboarding - Skiing season. Posted on: 22.11.2010 by Shay Wyche Anyone planning on getting away this year for some decent snow? I seen a few posts from guys last season and was curious how many people on here can't get enough of the white stuff (innuendo intended).Sorry if your in the southern hemisphere or in the tropics, but I'm excited about the upcoming season. The forecast for some real snow is in the next few days for the North of Scotland. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OQpl7rpBETY | |

Ashirumatic DJ 23.11.2010 | I will agree that we do have the best terrain in the world. Revelstoke has been killing it over the last few years, such wicked days out there! |
Michel Compoli 23.11.2010 | +1 on that, i ride/live on mt. washington on vancouver island. i get most of my gigs up here too |
Breanne Penge 24.11.2010 | I'm in B.C. and will be hitting up Whistler/Blackcomb, Revelstoke, Kicking Horse, Fernie, Whitewater, Mt. Washington and a few more this winter. B.C. ftw! I'm going to be bold and suggest that we have the best skiing/boarding in North America. |
Danilo Duzant 24.11.2010 | snow reported in for this week here in southern germany. i might go and get my old board out of the basement to go ride our skatepark :3 but i wont be able to get into 'decent snow' until new year |
Ashirumatic DJ 23.11.2010 | I ride: Red Resort in Rossaland, British Columbia http://www.redresort.com/ White Waters in Nelson, British Columbia http://www.skiwhitewater.com/ Silver Star in Vernon, British Columbia http://www.skisilverstar.com/ Big White in Kelowna British Columbia www.bigwhite.com/ and planning on trying out Powder King in Mackenzie, British Columbia since im up north most the winter. www.powderking.com/ |
Verdie Zabransky 23.11.2010 | Done a season in Banff last winter learning how to become a snowboard instructor and had a job line up for this season. Sadly, life got in the way and that's been postponed for at least another season. Was looking at hitting whistler for 3 weeks or somewhere like austria but the amount of money a "short" trip costs really bites when you know how little you can survive on when your a seasonaire |
Ethel Feigum 23.11.2010 | I'm in Northern California, about 3 hours from Lake Tahoe. The mountains up there are filling with snow as we speak. Used to snowboard 2-3 days a week, but I haven't gotten to ride for the past several years since my daughter was born. I'm looking forward to teaching her this season. |
Giuseppina Wietfeldt 23.11.2010 | I live in Montreal so i'm lucky to have many of north america's best mountains close to me. I've done Tremblant, Bromont, St-Sauveur, Orford and i try to go at least once a year to Jay Peak in Vermont (2:30 hour drive from my house, one of my fav. mountains) |
Graham Frazier 23.11.2010 | I can't wait to go to Jackson. Only going for 3 days this year, since i haven't build up any vacation time at the new job. |

Dalton Wyrobek 22.11.2010 | Already got 7 days in colorado in. Nothing but backcountry all year long. |

Lillia Doc 22.11.2010 | I ride twintip skis. http://assets.espn.go.com/ivp/player...17616&n8pe6c=3 I live in the very south of Norway, our first snowdrop was October 21st... I'm pretty sick of the snow now, sadly |
Leeanna Ayla 22.11.2010 | It was 80 degrees here today. |
Nathan Koschel 22.11.2010 | I'm definitely an avid skiier/snowboarder, but I don't have to get away to get the decent snow! I'm a web developer for Mammoth Mountain Ski Area(http://www.mammothmountain.com)... so some of the best 'white stuff' in the US is right out my backdoor! Hell... we've been getting hammered (4-6 feet of fresh this weekend with more on the way) all weekend! If any of you other skiing / boarding enthusiasts are located in CA, or want to visit, shoot me a PM. I can hook it up with Lift Tickets. |
