Firstly dude, c'mon, BEP made one excellent album, one iffy album and then it all went Top 40 but in now way can you liken the business and promotional accumin of Will.I.Am to that of a kid who's outlet is YouTube, the place that people look (actively seek out) idiots to propel into the limelight just to get a rise out of them and smash them into pieces. That's NOT marketing.

He is the DJ equivalent of YouTube 'Piano Cat'.

This kid is gonna regret this stuff for the rest of his life. Nothing good will come from this for this guy. He is a laughing stock.

It's not marketing. People are laughing AT him and he is not making any money from it.
If he was making tons of cash on the side of this then it would be (at best) incidental marketing. Success from being shit is nothing new. People have become rich from it. This guy won't.

In 5 years this guy will be getting asked "didnt you used to be that DJ Kidlukke" and his answer will be "Yes that was me, would you like cheese on your burger"

The thing is, this kid is able to market himself. In a way that causes the majority of people to dislike him, but just like Will.I.Am, he's a terrible singer, but he marketed the Black Eyed Peas as if it was a business, and he was very successful with it.

That's obvious, this kid doesn't seem to compose nor have any skill in DJ'ing, but again, this goes to marketing something, and apparently this kid successfully did market himself to the point where he got Deadmau5 to stand up for him.

Not really. Most of us post stuff on SC/MC, showing off their DJING skills.
This guy markets himsefl as a dj, but i just see him as a very lowly marketer/MC. I can also make a 120track 5minute mix by not mixing the tracks and just loading them one after the other, then post it on youtube. I wouldn't call that balls, i'd call it sadomasochism..

Ok, i'm gonna sound like someone I don't usually agree with but, let's forget this "Hes out there doing it" rubbish and "at least he's doing music and not just talking about it".

He is a shit DJ. He is trying to be like the big guys. He rides in a limo that he probably paid for (or his parents), NOT a record company and he acts with all that swagga (whatever that means) like he's some signed artist.

I find it sad. It's sad that this kid (and he is a kid) is acting like this. Its pathetic.

Anyone can rent a limo and borrow a video camera and pretend to be a DJ.

I have more respect for the people on the community saying sh*t about him because at least they are practicing and trying to get good.
That guy has not been practicing.

It is atrocious. He needs to be grounded and I dont mean kept in at evening i mean told what his priorities should be. Practice, learn, work hard, get gigs... not PLAYING AT PRETEND DJ STAR.

But again Deadmau5 has to be controversial. His opinion is worthless.

Now, I hate bullying. Full stop. So i dont like all the hate that he's getting but he is bringing it on himself. If this kid lived in the UK i am afraid and slightly ashamed to say he would have the crap beat out of him everyday, and his security would as well.

Put down the camera, take of the stupid specs and learn to DJ you silly, silly boy.
