Ive started on the Hercules Steel after wanting to be a DJ for years and years, but never having the money to start off. Then I heard of this 'dj console' thingy, and ppl said I could start already for just like 200euro! So I gave that thing a little go, and oh my, do I love it Now this week I'm trying my best to up my game a bit, and swapped to Traktor. Sure is hella different, specialy as I had VDJ skinned to look exactly like my console.. Also bought an LPD8 to help me with loops / effect / samples, so now Im struggling to map that whyle learning Traktor from scrap.. Anyways, this community has been beyond super helpful, and I hope I can be a valuable input to this community someday. Seeing the move to controllers and such has given me motivation to maybe consider selling my current gear (1200s/DJM3000/Serato SL) to try something smaller and less space dependent (VCI 100SE or a S4). |
