Any DJTT S4's already arrive? How was the video?Also I saw on the NI community a few guys that had issues with the jogs. Wondering if this is "batch" specific and if we'll see any sent from DJTT with hardware issues. | |

She's Domincan!!! Poor guy. Yeah man the bag shipped from a retailer was around $240.00 direct from Magma was even more. I may just get a cheap solution for now to keep it safe, and wait till they provide it in the US later on. |

And I spoke with Zach and bugged the shit out of him to make sure it he could ship here. He even emailed me to confrim it was sent to my middle east address, and now my USPS delivery confirmation doesn't even say it was processed for shipping. It says they are waiting for the package. I have no luck. (and for that matter neither does Zach, he's provided awesome customer support) However, my new TRS cables for my S4 got here on Monday |

Everytime i get a UPS delivery i ring them and tell them i will collect from the depot myself as their drivers are brain dead morons. |

"The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper on November 02, 2010 to expect your package for mailing. This does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date. Please check again later" I ordered something else from another store over the weekend and my status for that product says: "Your item was processed through and left our WARRENDALE, PA 15086 facility on November 08, 2010. The item is currently in transit to the destination. Information, if available, is updated periodically throughout the day. Please check again later" It's been over a week, and the postal office still does not say my package has been processed - only that they have been notified to expect a package for sending. Anyone else have the same status. What gives here??? |

| Hang Natelli 08.11.2010 | Well all I'm saying is Native Instruments probably intended to create hype. And why the hell not? They did a pretty good job of it. I'm not a marketing expert, and I did study marketing in school during undergrad, but you don't need to be an expert to know this is very good marketing. Kudos to NI for driving so much hype, and creating worldwide buzz and sales. I am personally very excited to get my S4 *hopefully* tomorrow. I very much hope it lives up to the hype. I obviously am very excited to use it and see how it can improve my workflow and open up my creative possibilities on top of the skillset I already have. But I believe what that other guy was saying is that for them to foster trust with their customers after creating so much hype is quite important. Possibly forever-damaging to the company in the worst case scenarios. But huge upsides when the product lives up to the hype. I haven't had the opportunity to play with my S4 yet, but I'm sure I will like it. This is NI's opportunity to try and fix any of the issues that are concerning people, essentially give the people what they want, and develop some serious brand loyal clientele. I am not sold on Traktor and NI yet, but am willing to let them convince me why I should invest my money and career in them. If this thing can deliver then it looks like I've found my new weapon. Let's see... |

The fact that NI was in the midst of launching a new product that is featured in the video is IMO sound proof. Obviously the video wasn't leaked, but it was meant to spread like wildfire. Normally once it actually ships delivery confirmation will say that the package has been processed at XXX center enroute 12345 Zip Code. Mine has not changed in a week?? Also I just ordered new TRS cables from Amazon and they got to me today. I'm in Baghdad at an APO address. I thought it would get here today, at a minumum I figured the delivery confirmation would have updated by now. I'm not diggin this. Not because of the wait, I expect pacakges to take longer to get here - but the guy above me got his to Australia, and I'm on a US military base with a US post office. According the tracking number the USPS was "notified" on the 2nd to expect a package for sending. Did anyone else's tracking do this for over a week? |

Its not like you have to do it every hour. Like Maxledaron wrote above, you are going to be staring at the screen picking out tracks, looking at waveforms anyways, so whats the problem? With the s4 you are actual subtracting from the DVS DJ workflow, since you dont have to plug your soundcard in to the turntables, etc |
