Reply to american audio vms4 vs vestax typhoon

it suddenly struck me how the vms4 has exponentially more functionality than the typhoon, but with barely any price bump.
i have had my eye on both of these as a secondary controller for awhile, and am wondering, price aside, which one is better quality?
the biggest concern is the sound card, the review of the vms4 on this site is awesome, but i would have liked more on the sound card. i understand it to be not the greatest, but is it not great or absolutley god-awful? how does it compare to the sound card of the typhoon? it too is a somewhat low end device and im suspicious of its sound card, and the fact that i cant find any decisive reviews on it anywhere, makes me even more suspicious.

if anyone has had experience with either or both of these controllers, any help would be awesome, im sure alot of people would like to know this as well.
