Imogene Modradian 10.05.2011 | You could (in theory) make a 16 button controller if you implemented the /, *, -, +, Enter key, period, and 0 keys. |
Kecia Wnukowski 10.05.2011 | Thanks a lot for your time and efforts, you're a star. |
Shonda Soulier 11.05.2011 | I don't get the wiring, but it's very cool! |
Imogene Modradian 11.05.2011 | This is genius. I imagine he isn't converting to MIDI at all and is simply using the keyboard mapping within Traktor. |
Brock Ricapito 11.05.2011 | just for the record, what are you using to convert HID to MIDI? I looked a bit into this yesterday because this thread inspired me so much, but I havent concluded what is best for PC. If you're a mac user of course, it doesnt help much, but it would still be good to know! thank you so much for the tutorial! |
Tatum Ansaldo 10.05.2011 | I don't see why not... that's a great idea! http://www.logitech.com/en-us/keyboa...d/devices/6355 |
Karolis Petrauskas 10.05.2011 | I wonder if it's possible to make a wireless version?!! |
Mac Fly 10.05.2011 | This should be posted on the Blog. |
Tatum Ansaldo 10.05.2011 | The lunchbox of champions! |
Arcelia Siebeneck 10.05.2011 | nice one - really simple |
Blanch Grainer 10.05.2011 | Here is the Tutorial: First take a cheap Numpad. I tooked this one from Slimlink. http://www.elektro-planet.com/shop/c...r-p-15243.html Numpads has really small Controlboards. First you had to find out which Button is soldered to which pin. I wrote the numbers to the foil. My controller has the soldering for the Buttons (Numbers): Number 1: C11 R2 Number 2: C12 R2 Number 3: C13 R2 Number 4: C11 R1 Number 5: C12 R1 Number 6: C13 R1 After soldering with a soldering bolt it looks like this: Some Notebooks need the Num Lock Button to activate the Numpad. So just put an extra button to the controller. Button Num Lock: C11 R4 Put this all in a case and it will be ready. greetings |
Brock Ricapito 10.05.2011 | you magnificent bastard! I eagerly await it. thank you! |
Blanch Grainer 10.05.2011 | Ok i wrote a small tutorial in the next days. greetings |
Brock Ricapito 10.05.2011 | bump for tutorial |
Marva Cupid 09.05.2011 | nice you could hook more buttons up, right ? |
Kecia Wnukowski 09.05.2011 | Excellent. Yes please do a tutorial if you can, your project seems 'simple' enough for people like myself who don't have a clue about this kind of electronic magic. If you cant', too bad, but thanks anyway for the thread. |
Elna Schwein 08.05.2011 | cheap an clean as hell |

Ralph Alderette 08.05.2011 | that looks sick! how easy was it to build? |
Jacque Divinity 08.05.2011 | a long strip of buttons under the vestax rather than on the sides would make more sense from an ergonomic stand point... unless you don't do/wont be doing cue point juggling. |
Joan Kollmorgen 08.05.2011 | Nice one - I hope you left enough space to carry a couple of sandwiches? |
Marva Cupid 08.05.2011 | What about one longish one along the bottom of the vestax |
