| Charleen Clausius 03.12.2010 | Hey gents, I currently have firmware 1.4 and due to some issues, I decided to downgrade to 1.3.3. After using the above link to download the 1.3.3 firmware I am getting, "The compressed folder is invalid or corrupted." Secondly, after finding a previous download I attempted to downgrade my firmware. I'm recieving "The file is not and Srecord, loading will be stopped" error. My questions are: Does anyone have a working copy of the firmware they can email me? What would cause the Srecord error? On the 1.3.3 file, there's no .mot extension, could this be the problem? Thanks for your help in advance. |

/sho...t=17022&page=3. Comes in normal and high-resolution flavors for your jog wheels. Speaking of which, I recently upgraded to 1.4. When I tried it with Algoriddim's DJay (not a Traktor user), everything worked except the job wheels and pitch sliders. I then tried the high-res version of 1.3.3 and everything worked, except the jog wheel exteriors for pitch bending. Just a matter of remapping in DJay. No biggie. Jog wheels are far more responsive, but I've lost the simulated inertia that comes with doing a back or forward spin. (Time will tell if that bothers me or not.) So what's the difference between 1.3.3 and 1.4? Is 1.4 specifically for the Arcade SE's? Shouts out to Flashflooder, PhotoJojo, and DaveX. This makes the VCI-100 even better than I thought it was. |
| Janel Hongsermeier 03.12.2010 | So far i don't know if you can downgrade to 1.2(I assume that yes you can ).I do not know if you can find the 1.2FW and from where(I believe you should contact Vestax for this).I just upgrade mine 2 days a go and i'm still practicing so i cannot tell for sure regards bugs. |

The 1.4 upgrade is actually quite a big deal, everything just feels perfect now. I had to change the pitch bend sensitivity and also the pitch range down to get the feel i want it seems so spot on now, really tactile. Love it!! Big Up DAVE X!! |

| Fredia Sullens 08.11.2010 | good that you solved the renesas problem erpi. now that this is fixed, I really would like to tackle the jog wheel issue. I remember however that some people have problems with the right wheel and some with the left. my right wheel is working 95% of the time, but sometimes I have the glitchy and unresponsive behaviour there as well. the left wheel is totally unusable tor scratch/seek/transport, seems that only less than half of the sensor data is interpreted. is anyone else actively working on this problem? |

| Leeanna Ayla 07.11.2010 | Go into your control panel and open add remove programs and remove Renases. There may be an option to unintsall in the start menu, but I'm nit sure. I've seen at least once where someone needed to reinstall Renases. Sometimes it hangs up on something I believe and can't finish the process to start a new one. |

When i push on it , it is not always lighting red , even after trying to adjust the sensibility with the knob on the rear of the vci. After upgrading the firmware , i started traktor , import the settings with the button on the left corner , i correct the values in the two in and out boxes. I open and close traktor twice , and i repeat the whole process a second time. Is it wrong ? I would like to make the loop for 4 beats instead of 8 where should i change the value ? I also would like to use the external part of the wheel to fine pitch my mix when scratch mode is set to off , how to put this function back ? And also change the sensivity because it is much too high. Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad English. |
