Stopping smoking...Who's with us? Posted on: 10.01.2013 by Ngoc Ninow Title says it all really...DarioJ and I have decided to give up the devilish little white sticks, in favour of better health, cleaner lungs and heavier pockets, full of money to spend on new kit! My quite date is the 15/01/2013. I believe for most of you this will make sense written like this; 01/15/2013 My aim for the end of the year is to have enough for a DJM2000 Nexus! Anyone wants to join or just to offer support/hints/tips, then feel free. Peace out OBL | |
Tatum Ansaldo 10.01.2013 | Just ordered a new e-cig, nothing fancy but it's got VV and a proper sized clearomizer. I've been using a really slim not-much-bigger-than-a-cigarette one until now and the hit just isn't good or indeed reliable. Plus you have to point it vertically upwards or it tastes like burnt plastic after 2 hits. |

Blimey deevey, that's some e-cig! care to name the type?
Honestly "Vaping" starts to become a hobby in itself, chasing that perfect Vape combination of taste Throat hit and smoke and you just forget about the fags. Here's some more snaps You Create your own Atomizer basically with that tank with wire wrapped around a Rolled stainless Steel Mesh Wick. |
Tatum Ansaldo 10.01.2013 | Good Man! |
Werner Bile 10.01.2013 | I'm on board. quit day 11 Jan, 2013. I've got two cigarettes left and then that's it. |

Rolanda Clodfelder 10.01.2013 | Been using an Ecig on and off for almost a year and cut down the fags to about 3 a day. But been off them completely though for the past month or so since buying a "proper" e-cig Mod/Tank and started making my own E-juice. No too bad for a Chain Smoker who spends 14 or 15 hours a day at home on his computer
how many you have left in your pack and if you'll have enough for the next morning
|
Jonathan Chiuchiolo 10.01.2013 | make sure you quit with some in your pack... It is your back up plan and allows you to make a choice whether or not you really need one which gives the power back to you.. If you quit with none there you are powerless and at the mercy of your addiction until you buy another pack, feel like a failure and finish the pack... It is also good after 2 weeks, a month and three months to cheat. It wiill make you realize just how bad they taste and make you feel. It really gives you the motivation to keep fighting. ...says the smoker LOL Good luck bro |
Ngoc Ninow 10.01.2013 | I've got out of bed to go to the shop before now to get them; didn't want one, must needed to know I had them for the morning. Never though of it like that before.... |
Tatum Ansaldo 10.01.2013 | Someone said something to me the other day on this subject which is very true; one of the best things about not smoking is that you don't spend your entire life worrying about how many you have left in your pack and if you'll have enough for the next morning. Such a weight off the mind. |

Alease Fitch 10.01.2013 | I don't smoke at all, where's my money? D: |

I've tried a self help book this time, as well an e-cig. Have to carry on smoking whilst reading the book cover to cover. Will see how it goes! |
Jonathan Chiuchiolo 10.01.2013 | they'll have to pry the ciggies from my cold dead hands! oh wait ..either that or just keep on raising the price... If the governments of the world do that with alcohol when they realize the population will give into their demands with no fight I won't be happy. |
Jarod Perrodin 10.01.2013 | I stopped smoking 18 months ago, I used the electric cigarettes for a while, but was still quite addicted to them. So I went to tesco and bought the patches, it really is worth doing. Im now a non smoker If your in the uk you can get 12 weeks of nicotine patches for the price of a prescription, you'd be crazy not to. But I now need to take up a sport, my current hobby of eating isnt working. Smoking is slimming Good luck guys |
Tatum Ansaldo 10.01.2013 | I've tried cold turkey before and lasted about 4 hours lol, this time I'm taking champix tablets which are really helping. In also using an e-cig with plain liquid (no nicotine) to help with the cravings. |
Ngoc Ninow 10.01.2013 | ^^^ +1 to that! How you found it? Used any quitting aids or good ol fashioned cold turkey? |
Tatum Ansaldo 10.01.2013 | Awesome! I actually from 15 a day quit 3 weeks ago today Stay strong guys! |
