Maschine Studio
Maschine Studio Posted on: 30.09.2013 by Leeanna Ayla Anybody get their Sweetwater catalog today? Check out page 225. | |
Carlee Pickard 01.10.2013 | I can't tell by the pictures, but even with the displays on the Maschine Studio, it's still not stand-alone right? You still have to have it hooked up to your laptop yeah? |

Carlee Pickard 01.10.2013 | Let me be the first to say, I am that asshole who will upgrade his gear for no rhyme or reason. Especially when it comes to Maschine. However aside from 2 additional screens and a VU meter and a few additional buttons I don't see what the big deal is about it. As a MK II (used to own the original as well) owner, i'm completely satisfied with my MK II. And for those of you who own the Mk I, the MK II's pads are a huge upgrade. I absolutely love how playable and finger friendly it is now. So given everything i've said, I doubt unless there is some other significant upgrade to the hardware that i'm unaware of I doubt i'll be upgrading. |
Lashawn Maycock 01.10.2013 | Does look an interesting development, as long as Maschine 2.0 SW is available to and supports existing owners, I'll be happy sticking with my MkII. |

Kara Okumoto 01.10.2013 | Built-in stand. Color display look dope and it's got more dedicated buttons. Looks like the scene arranger now shows you how long each scene is visually: NI_Maschine_2-0_Screenshot_Arranger-580x410.jpg |
Lashay Walchak 01.10.2013 | Built in interface! |
Ervin Calvery 30.09.2013 | NI has stated on their own site that they plan on supporting the original Maschine for a very long time. |
Rebbecca Fennell 30.09.2013 | Not sure if I care, hell the mk2 wasn't enough to get me to switch from my mk1. Depending on the features I'd probably only be a buyer if I sank some money into a decent desktop. |
Gracia Vandivner 30.09.2013 | Damnit! Is this real? I was gonna upgrade soon and as a production thing I was gonna get a MK2 but now I can't because you need to have the newest things and be hip. |
Delena Katherman 30.09.2013 | To johnnypepp: I hear you, man. I know it's annoying. But, unfortunately, it's apparently profitable. They want to sell as much old product as possible before revealing their next release. It's a pretty common business model, actually (not that it makes it ok). |
Sonja Roybal 30.09.2013 | As long as the hardware is compatible with the software updates, it's not really a big deal. I like that Maschine is moving towards becoming a real DAW. |

But I'm glad this new Maschine is an available option. Why not have more choices? Also, you have more options now since you own a Maschine and a separate audio interface. This can be an advantage, as you don't have to always have them linked together. |

Leeanna Ayla 30.09.2013 | Very little gear is relevant for very long now days. |
Romelia Stankard 30.09.2013 | Interesting, as long as they keep supporting the MK1 I'm happy with it. These updates mostly seem mostly insignificant- you can get a used MK1 with software for under $200. $1000 can buy you some nice real hardware and open you up to a different world... |

Now you either have to sell your old one and get a new one, or just buy it new and have a double software license and an spare small one lying around, either way, you lose more money, yay. |
Nedra Fresneda 30.09.2013 | Looks nice but I still believe I made the right decision by switching my MK1 for Push |
