Take 10 tracks, spanning 5 styles (dubstep, breaks, house, techno and dnb - 2 of each) and mix them together. The idea of this challenge was to push the creative boundaries of people, as opposed to normal mix competitions where you just throw down any tracks you like. The trick was to show the most ingenious use of the tracks supplied. | Charline Dye 21.02.2011 | I thought the BPM lists were interesting. 4 and 5 were very similar in starting slow and building up the tempo to the end. 1 started fast slowed down to the middle,then went back up to the end. 2 progressed upward towards the end, but did it by going up in bpm and dropping back down, then up higher and drop down. 3 went with starting and ending slow, with 2 peaks in the middle. |
