I'm afraid if you take the bpm down too much, the last two tracks will suffer greatly.

I've found this balance to be a perfect fit for my tracks. First two tracks in balance with my last two.
(Ideally I would have been up to 138bpm)

And tbh, you don't know if the tracks you already sought will fit my and grazz's tracks?

Probably shouldn't mess with Teki's bit, but if you want to bring yours down go for it.

i could take it down a couple clicks if you want...or i should say, if Tekki is ok with that

I'd have said "Bay of figs". But Maybe keith is talking about something else.
The SC upload/flac is fine, it's the conversion to mp3 i made that's messed up. I'll have to double check it with my hd25 on an actual computer. I'm a bit worried because every other mp3 on my HTC sounds clean on my Shure IEMs.

The only thing that jumps out as maybe a classic would be Speedy J, but that's not an old track. Am I missing something?

I listened to part of the flac file and part of the sound cloud upload didn't hear anything out of whack. I'll double check later today.

Take your time with track selection.
I ran this through LAME to have something to listen to on my daily commute and the left channel came out super bad. I thought I'd blown my left in-ear! The rest of my media is fine, therefore It's gotta be my mp3.

The Scb tune peaks +3db higher on the right so I'd slightly offset this in soundforge for the first few minutes. I have a feeling the glitch has to do with this.

Since the whole train will eventually be encoded to mp3, I'll try a few things toevening to make sure it can be fixed. Good thing I have the soundforge project with the editable automation still intact.
If you wanna encode it to mp3 and see what gives on your end, I'm all ears (or anyone on the train - I'll share on Soundcloud)

i just upgraded our soundcloud and they gave me an extra 10 and half hours on top of the 11 i already had on there so am more than happy to keep the first one up there ( plus the prog train) chris. 400 followers or so over there so it should do quite well i'd imagine. Might Re-up the Psytrain if i get time

My studio is still being relocated into the loft, and with xmas coming up it's going to be busy as you like, this my desk which needs to be taken apart probably won't be done until after xmas, so hopefully we won't get down to me until the new year

Nice to see train #2 is moving along. As for ours, I had a bit of an idea inducing mess about yesterday. I'm shooting for a finished part toevening . It'll be done before the 23rd because I definitely do not feel like bringing controllers on holiday or doing it internally with the mouse and keyboard

I doubt it'll be to you until after Christmas. I can probably get mine done this week if I get it, but I'll be out of town for part of the week.

Sounds like a plan to me and I'll probably have 6-8 tracks as well depending on how I utilize samples.

What I usually tend to do:
1. copy and paste the last track from the previous part, to get BPM and feeling of the last track.
2. do a test run with the sample made in step 1 and the track I want to start off with.
3. When this is done, and BPM's are done correctly I start recording and mixing.
4. Last track is finished, stop the recording and save it.
5. Get both sets, the DJTT Session until your part and your recording into the DAW of choice and start combining these files properly.
